That’s what I figured. To get in to Egg Bowl talk, from what I’ve seen from our defense, they look to be a good match up thus far with State. Haven’t watched many games, only seen what’s been posted. How do you think your defense matches up against Ole Miss offense, with us being more run centered than previous years?

It matters to them just as much, but they hate to admit it. Hell, they rushed the field and tore down goal posts after beating a 7 win State team not that long ago.

Again… that means nothing to them if they lose to us. I’m sorry this offends so many. They live for one game and one game only.

Hey everybody look at me! See how important I am! HEY LOOK! I’m trying to convince you I’m important. That’s all your thread is screaming.

Truth is, with Lane and ole miss and leach at state, I’m glad the toxic rivalry is somewhat gone.

Calm down. I think what he’s inferring is this isn’t the best LSU team we’ve seen in awhile and our only opportunity to beat LSU should have been this year. You watched the game.

Kiffin said after their 2020 EB win, " I was excited obviously but to see them in the locker room after it was like winning a Super Bowl."

If this is true then we were idiots to fire our last coach with 100% winning percentage over his first 2 seasons

Defense is well rounded. But secondary is the strength in my opinion. Y’all will move it if you run it. But we’ve scored a lot in every game but LSU, and I think we’ll score on OM too. Bound to be a fun one

Downvote me all you want. If they go 11-1 and lose to us, they consider it a failed year. You have to live down here to know what they’re like. The Egg Bowl is the only game that counts to them.
All I know is that nobody outside of Ole Miss likes Ole Miss. Hell, Ole Miss frat boys don’t even like Ole Miss. That’s why these frat boys are fighting each other in the stands.

Leach’s offense is like a knuckleballer in baseball. When it’s on, it’s lights out, but it’s not always on and you end up having some awful games.

It’s frustrating that Leach loses games he shouldn’t. See: Memphis, Texas Tech last year, LSU this year

I’m sorry, but in no world is msu not supposed to lose to LSU. I’m sorry, it’s just who state is.

And I graduated from state.

I’ll concede it matters a lot, just like it does to OM fans. Y’all are just the dorks that claim to have a hot girlfriend in Canada (true rival is LSU; national champs pre-integration). We all know it’s a sad lie.

Leachs system works when the players play mistake free.

If you have a game with penalties, dropped passes, etc it kills his offense because it’s not particularly explosive. It relies on nickel and diming a lot, so you can’t go backwards or have unproductive downs

It is the triple option with passes. When it works it is terrifying. I mean a great triple option team is scary. When it doesn't... Army is 1-4 this year.

But Leach is great at this offense. He is a master. Honestly I expect him to put up a ton of points on us this weekend.

But on the road in Starkville against a MSU team that will likely lose a game or two they shouldn't so that UGA might overlook it... but be capable of putting up a top 15 quality effort? That is worrisome for me.

It’s a hornets nest for sure. The cowbells are rocking and they won’t ring responsibly and you get down 10 points maybe and shite will get real very fast

Leach didn’t lose game at LSU fumbled snap on punt did.

He did everything he could to try to build enough of a lead to take crowd out of it just couldn’t do it
