Lots of people involved - it heavily used the Harris and Coaches Poll (66% of it).

Son….. that ole boy is uncomfortably fat. The kind of fat where you get dizzy when tying your shoes.

Someone honestly needs to advise him to lose a buck fiddy.

The bigger question is how is that SOS 15th? Because ND is on it? TX? The other teams are either doormats or fired their coaches mid season.

Don't wet the bed against Texas, and you will not have to ask yourself this question. It is that simple.

and a better win, and a less bad loss, than almost all the other one loss teams. (Not including BYU).

You have a better win than UGA over Ole Miss? Who?

You have a better loss than UGA to Bama? Really? You lost to #13, UGA lost to #9.

I’m ok with Ole Miss being in front of us but both Ole Miss and A&M should be in front of Tech and Oregon.

I watched Tech play BYU and if that’s the most competition they’ve played all year then they haven’t played anyone.

Miss St would steamroll BYU.

Losing your way into the playoff is not a good look. Aggies did well to win early Enjoy the season …..you are in….

Didn’t OSU lose to Michigan one year and not drop a single playoff spot?

Teams that have worse strength of schedule and strength of record. There’s a couple of one loss teams that fit that category.

Look at it this way, Sark is essentially arguing that Texas should not be penalized for their road loss at Ohio State.

So, lots of teams have one loss that they do not want to be penalized for. Oregon losing a home game to Indiana and blow out fashion.

Tech losing at Arizona State.

All teams that are not undefeated have lost their way into the playoffs

No, that's why I said most one loss teams. Ole Miss loss is better than A&M's loss.

In what universe should a loss on your schedule not be applied against you in national rankings? You play the teams on your schedule…some years they suck, some years they're world beaters.

Should teams beaten by Vandy argue that it shouldn’t count because they’re not “supposed” to be good?

Yep. A&M vs Ole Miss is so close, there is no reason to complain one way or the other, But we should clearly be ahead of Tech and Oregon.

I think the way they get there is by overvaluing the in-conference records, without regard to the strength of those records.

So, for example, Arizona State is 6-3 in conference, and Mississippi Stare is 0-8 in conference.

But Aggy never beat a team with a winning record in conference!

Okay, but the SEC is better than everybody else. Mississippi State beat Arizona State!
