Hope you are right. I do like our team, but basketball is a funny game. Most anything can happen in the tournament.

What scares me most is that it seems like there's always a point in our games where we have a 4-5 minute or so streak where we just go ice cold and don't score any points. It seems we're good enough that we're always able to overcome that, but those are killers in the tournament when you have an underdog that smells blood.

True. It's a game of runs, but sometimes those runs go on too long for my comfort zone. Makes it exciting though. Enjoy every victory.

Would not be shocked if it's UK and Auburn in Final 4

In all honesty that would be very Auburn of us. I still remember the gut punch when we lost in the Sweet 16 to
Ohio State in 99. That Auburn team was dominant and started the season something like 23-1.

They're one of the few college teams that has really impressed me so far.
I joke about them getting handed an early exit, but this team is just simply better than most everyone else.

I want us to lock up the conference so at least have that for this team.
As the program has improved the "we're playing with house money" aspect has decreased, as would be expected. I think a conference title + elite 8 or better would be fine for the program. Perhaps not satisfying, but not a waste either.

Auburn is going to be very good again in a few years and then again a few years after that. This is a great team, but it's the NCAA Tournament and great teams lose all the time. No shame in that.
