This Aggie OC "search" has been a shitshow

During the season, Aggie "insiders" swore there was a ton of interest in the job and Jimbo would be "forced" to hand over control of the offense.
Then the narrative became that a "big name OC" had already been hired and they would announce it when the season ended.
Now that Jimbo has (allegedly) been rejected by:
Garrett Riley
Jeff Grimes
Phil Longo
It seems they're making a Hail Mary attempt to hire retread Bonny Petrino, who is currently the head coach at Missouri State and hasn't been an OC since 2002.

ETA- Bobby Petrino has officially turned down Texas A&M and been hired by UNLV as their OC.
ETA- Bobby Petrino has accepted A&M's second offer and will now be leaving UNLV.

Have any details of how the OC will work been released? Will the OC just be running jimbo's offense or will the OC run their own offense?

I know this is partly a flame thread but BP would be a home run hire for them, assuming that Jimbo got out of his way on offense.
BP solely focusing on play calling is scary. They will have to pick up on his lack of recruiting though.
