How much will tickets cost? What are the bars like? What are good places to stay/eat?

Basically is it worth it

The bars are very similar to the ones on the far end of Bourbon Street

Olsen Field is sold out via season tickets. The only seats available are general admission. They can be purchased here. The general admission areas and 1st base side upper deck and both outfield berms. You will need to arrive at least an hour early, maybe more to get a seat for a big game. With LSU being Easter weekend and playing on a Thursday, it may not be too bad. If you want an actual reserved seat, you check flash. Thur, Fri, Sat. Currently the highest price seat is listed at $200.

I wouldn't mind going since it's not too far for me.

I'm sure the city sucks dick, but at least you'll get to see LSU beat the shite out of a&m.

CSTAT is alright. North Gate is a good place to drink and they have some food on the strip. Rebel Bar is where I spent most of my time when I used to visit there. Dixie Chicken was interesting. Besides that, it's pretty boring over there.

Just don't yell Geaux Tigers a lot. I got thrown out of a bar for doing that

Corner Bar, rebels and mad hatters are the bars you should check out. Dixie chicken is a cool place to grab a beer during the day but not too fun at night. Unless you go on a Thursday night when drink specials are the best in town.

You should stay home and watch on TV. Not worth it to come watch your team lose.

Not of the bars are right on the north side of campus called North Gate. A good 25 or so bars all next door to each other.

All sorts of chain hotels all over town. Hilton is probably the nicest, but as long as you're not picking motel 6 or something it should be fine. There are also AirBNB options. If you want to make it more than just a baseball weekend there is a nice B&B at the Messina Hof winery. A way to score points with the wife and still see some baseball.

Awesome place to hang out on the roof bar, especially during the warmer months. The downstairs renovations are awesome.

Also, support. Not sure if they did it anymore but they had half off until 11 at least on the weekends. I was going to down on some rum and cokes for under $2.

I like it but kind of weird. Structurally it feels like 3 buildings crashed into one another. And there's only one bathroom with one toilet so there's always a line, even for the men's.

I always used to just go in the women's bathroom at mad hatters

If you get claustrophobic though I would avoid it
