That happened to me once on a camping trip around the southeast. I was an entering 'Bama student at the time, had a few Bama shirts in my bag. Crew wanted to stop at a Bass Pro Shop and I had one of them on. I'm minding my own business and pass a guy in an AU shirt. Dude starts mumbling to his woman complaining sbout how many Bama shirts he sees.

The guy might not be an Auburn student, but does that clear that he's not an Auburn grad? I mean, he is 29, could have gone there years ago. Either that, or he's a sidewalk Bama fan, or maybe he's from Louisiana and currently lives in the state of Alabama.

The article I read said he had no affiliation with Auburn University. It didn't really say anything other than that.
