I wish I could melt but I've already had my therapy session with my Dad and I've got plenty of beer left. Everyone will soon care that Dodgson is here.

Ooo shite. Who do we have here??

for the time being.. I've just learned of the sexual assault charges against the Dodgson actor and... retirement of this name may be in order.

That used to not bother me as much, but now it kind of sticks with me a little bit. I try to watch out for myself and other drivers as much as possible, but damn those close calls. Feel a bit of dread when it seems law of averages will catch up... Thoughts to Berman and family.

We didn't know Saban would rattle off 4 titles in 2010, and adding an in state threat was a lot more frightening then.

Yeah, this is what made it especially sickening at the time. The program had finally turned around, won an NC, and all of the sudden Our instate rival had fallen into Cam Newton and were in position to do what we did.

That was a rough day. We got to the student section early to make sure we got decent seats, froze our damn asses off for 2 or 3 hours, watched a few AU players taunt the student section pregame, looked like we were gonna rip their hearts out, then it all melted away. Three hour drive back to my parents house for the rest of the weekend and I was fielding calls from AU fricks and other people wondering WTF happened. Id rather watch Kick Six ten times than watch a second of this again.

themes/stories that bring you back to your high school days no matter your generation.

I wanted to call up damn near everyone I went to high school with after watching the whole series a few years ago. Seemed every episode had something that hit close to home. For instance, Nick's awkward courting of Lindsay... Yeah that especially.

I know right. I reminded my dad the game was coming on and now feel freakin guilty about it.
I remember being a student worker, sitting in a squad car (front seat not back), it being cold as frick that night, and hearing this news over the radio. I just had to laugh at the time. My undergrad advisor was a WVU grad. I think he has the photoshop of Rich Rod in an Alabama tee pinned up in his office to this day.

re: Que? Si, Manuel RIP

One of my favorite exchanges from the show nicked from IMDB:

quote:

Basil Fawlty: [seeing Manual with three trays] Manuel.
Manuel: ¿Si?
Basil Fawlty: [speaking slowly] There is too much butter on those trays.
Manuel: ¿Que?
Basil Fawlty: There is too much butter... on... those... trays.
Manuel: No. No, no, senor. Not... not "on... those... trays"... No, sir. Manuel: [counting the trays instructively] "Uno, dos, tres".

RIP
You can still buy Star Wars micro machines. They brought them back for episode 7 (with the micro machines logo and everything). Saw some in Target last night. But they haven't and probably aren't going to bring back the traditional ones, unless something has changed.

But man I loved micro machines too. Anyone remember super van city? Hours of just playing with that thing and making up stories, the mountain in the middle was Wayne Manor for me because I had a Batmobile MM to put on top of it.

That freaking Unsolved Mysteries music still gives me chills.

They used to hit that incidental music for maximum effect too. One time I was laying down for bed with unsolved mysteries on and some story had this guy sitting in his house and all of the sudden it hit that "DUNNN"... And there was a fricking ghost monk outside his window. Didn't get to sleep for a little while after that.

Anyway, I need to find some Rescue 911 episodes to watch. Haven't seen one in a long time. Was always a good night when I would catch it on.

What an enjoyable show. It's gotten better and better each season.

Yeah, I loved the show before but this season was on another level. It was good to hear the renewal news yesterday. I'm betting they filmed two versions of that final scene... One where donna stays and one where donna goes... Just in case.

20 piece mcnuggets
Large chili from wendys.
chicken quesadilla from Taco Bell
Spicy chicken sandwich from chik fil a
Large fry from milos with a cup of sauce and a sweet tea.

If this ends up on one of those last meals from death row sites then by god they found me.
