#2 but only if they win very impressively which is not going to happen anyway.

This is my thought, I think it would take a very impressive win by Okie State and a loss by Va Tech. I don't see both happening. Especially an impressive win by Okie State. They may win, but it will be close if they do.

2
100% if OSU wins and VT loses
50/50 if VT wins as well

OSU wins = Bama out
Not sure OSU can get it done

I think so but...
I think it'll be close bc Clemson will beat VT and Oklahoma state will beat Oklahoma by 2 touchdowns. Sunday will be stressful for Alabama fans but I ultimately think we will meet for a rematch.
But no way LSU loses to Bama in the Dome.

Looks like 1 right now
Having said that, I thought most would be in favor of a rematch until this weekend. While Bama's at home, if OSU wins impressively, and everyone begins to understand OSU is a conference champion, things could get VERY interesting. If Va Tech loses, and OSU wins, I'll change my prediction.

#2 if Vtech loses and OSU wins by 200-400 points.

If OSU wins - there will not be a rematch.

2. OSU has to win by a pretty good margin and Va Tech has to lose.

There will be a rematch unless somehow the Harris Poll and Coaches poll jump OSU up 3 spots and drop Bama. I guess if LSU loses it wouldn't happen either.
There will be several coaches that will vote for a rematch on the off chance they will be in position for one one day.
The Big 12 has ZERO room to talk in regards to Alabama making the BCSCG. Didn't win their conference? Hello OU 2003. Didn't win their division? Hello NU 2001.

There will be coaches that will vote against a rematch thinking that they don't won't their 1 loss conference champs to be left out over a team that didn't even win its division, didn't play in their conference championship game and didn't win their conference.

5. Doesn't matter. LSU beats whoever they play.

Right now, I'm voting #1
But if by some miracle OSU jumps Bama, I will be on this board with enough popcorn to feed several 3rd world countries for a week.

Also true.
Assuming Brad Edwards is correct, OSU is the only school that has the computer scores to jump Alabama. In order to jump Bama they need 25% in both the Harris Poll and Coaches poll to vote OSU #2 and the other 75% to vote them #3. If every coach currently has Alabama in their top three then Alabama currently has 54 second place votes and 5 third. That would mean 91% have Alabama #2. Alabama would have to lose about 10 second place votes WITH OSU jumping from 5 all the way to 2.
Like it or not, IMO, there is like a 98% chance Alabama will be playing on Jan 9th in New Orleans.
