I have a love-hate relationship with Kiffin. He brings a fun energy to the program that gets ole miss the same attention that we got when Hugh Freeze was here without all the hypocritical Bible thumping, he brings in high caliber players that could play at big time programs that are fun to watch, but the team seems to be as dysfunctional, as he is in real life, we can never put it all together for 12 games and he absolutely chokes in must win games. He’s a bipolar autist and our team reflects that.

yes because they played a shorter schedule with no OOC games. So less wins is typically what happens when you take away 3-4 wins from everyone.

Only 2 teams having a regular season winning record is not normal. It's a down year, regardless of # of games played.

For comparison, 2020 had 5 teams without a winning record, 2021 had 0 teams without a winning record in the regular season.

Eli Drinkwitz wakes up in the mirror and thinks he is on Lane Kiffin's level. He isn't and is substantially worse albeit an undefeated record this year.

That had implications way beyond Lane Kiffin. We would have been fine with another coach but we wouldn't have been fine with having a conference member steal our coach.

You can’t win in this conference by simply trying to outscore the other opponent. That was my biggest problem with him being the next HC at Auburn when all the rumors were going around last year

It is a pretty even race between him and Jimbo....what Kiffin did to UT though was inexcusable and there is not a program on the planet more fun to hate than UT....but what Kiffin did was wrong in any walk of life...

this is cuck logic.

If a school can fire a coach at the snap of a finger, the coach should be able to leave just the same. There's a reason why buyouts are included in contracts.

His leaving UT paid off handsomely for him, good think he ain't a cuck and did not use cuck logic. He was an idiot to leave UT at the time for USC. Taking risk when there is a tangible reward involved is one thing, taking a risk simply to take a risk is a fricking idiotic way to conduct ones life...and Kiffin has proven nothing if not that idiocy is strong in him...

We don’t disagree that Jimbo is a Fraud.

But Jimbo has a NC, finished ranked #4 at the end of 2020 and beat Saban in 2021.

So while yes he is a fraud for wasting talent, Kiffin is a freaking child and a loser.

Lane would wreck the conference at LSU.

I'm glad they haven't had a talented coach in a while.

It’s a shitty stat, but the hallmark of teams that win 9 or more games is that they don’t lose but 3 a year. What is every SEC head coach’s record for that stat?

For the record, Lane is a fraud and we shouldn’t have given him the raise.

I don't know if it did or not. But that's irrelevant to my very plainly stated point.

once again....my point was very plainly stated. I'm sorry that I wasn't able to simplify it any further to what you're able to understand.

At that time, USC was still considered an elite program. It was a step up from Tennessee.

I mean, we lost to FSU by a pretty large margin and barely squeaked by Arkansas. This game could easily go either way.

The game will not go either way. OM was looking to take Bama down, this was probably Lane's last, best chance... he looked bad, embarrassed, and most importantly... exposed.

There is no way LSU comes away with anything other than a big victory this week. Mississippi is demoralized [it starts from the coach down]. I wish you could put the final stake through his heart but I don't think he has one.

I want Ole Miss to do well but they are paying 'top-tier' for a fraud. Now, if I could just convince half of the Bama fans who still want him... lol.

Leveraging raises like that is a killer for a program long term. It almost inevitably leads the fanbase and boosters to question why they are paying so much. At least you got leveraged while there was genuine interest from other programs --- we have been leveraged repeatedly over the illusion of interest.

Yeah if I was lsu, I’d be worried about ole miss. LSU secondary isn’t that great and I think ole miss matches well with lsu

1-19 against P5 teams that finish with 9 or more wins

So if OM beats LSU, then LSU won't get to 9 wins.
