You do realize that it’s impossible to embarrass the SEC by losing to….wait for it…the SEC.
The only way to embarrass the SEC is losing to an OOC opponent and the worst ones are played prior to SEC play (due to postseason being actually decent OOC opponents). You’d think an LSU baseball fan would understand how this works.

Not making the tournament is an embarrassment. Losing to a 3 or 4 seed that isn't an SEC team in a super regional is an embarrassment. Going 0-2 in Omaha is also embarrassing for some programs. Losing games in March that no one will care about in May is just another year of college baseball.

This isn't a deflection. LSU is the defending national champion. We aren't throwing it back to a title 30 years ago.
