Alabama is irrelevant.

Enjoy your Retardness Bowl.

Honestly I'd trade with the Vols.

I think we can get by Clempson without too much trouble, but Skaterboi at ASU will be a problem. We've been very good on D this year, but better against the pass vs run.

Neither tOSU or Oregon scares me if I'm honest. I think we can line up and beat the frickeyes mano y mano, and a Dylan Gabriel led Oregon isn't exactly a rolling ball of butcher knives. Sure his late game heroics in the RRS was the difference in the game in '23, but since that game our pass defense has vastly improved, and mobile QB's haven't really been an issue for our D this year.

I know Bret Yormark's wet dream is for the Big 12 champion to beat the team that humiliated him in last year's CCG, so I hate that we'll be in that position.

I had this fleeting moment where I thought Tennessee should win and that would be good for the conference.

Then you posted this.

I like Tennessee, but they are one of the weaker schools here. Looked better at the end, but I don’t think they’ve reached contender status.

Take Tennessee and Georgia off the list of legit contenders. Tennessee isn’t good enough and Georgia doesn’t have a QB.

They were better with the backup, so maybe not.

I think it helps Georgia a little that nobody really has film on the guy. By the time they get to the finals, he may struggle a little. The bye will help them a good bit.

Except the one who entered the SEC championship game in the second half and led Georgia to the title.

You won't get by Clemson easily. They are a good team and you are mediocre at best. People will eventually see how good our win at Clemson was.

What I know is Georgia lost 2 games this season, and nearly lost two more

I don't view them as untouchable

I would take Alabama over Oregon.

Oregon's offensive and defensive lines are average at best.

Milroe would ROLL.

Ole Miss, South Carolina, A&M, LSU, Florida, and Arkansas would take Arizona State, SMU, Boise, and Indiana to the woodshed.

Players will soon be playing for playoff money...

This is much more a sign of how terrible Oregon's D line is than anything about Penn St

Guys, thanks for the bulletin board material. Every little insult helps - especially from Alabama who knows nothing about making the new playoffs.

Why? It’s not like Beck is a good QB. He’s just like all their QBs. Average.

No team is untouchable this year and every team has weaknesses. Even Oregon has looked very weak multiple times this season.

Having a lot of talent just gives you more wiggle room when things go south. UGA if they had a "normal" difficulty of SEC schedule would likely have gone 11-1 in the regular season. But they had 5 regular season games against top 16 teams and only one of them was at home... so they went 10-2 instead.

Without the pure level of talent UGA had on the roster they probably would have lost to Kentucky and GT this year. But having elite talent lets you take a "best shot" from a lesser team and still win even if you're not on your A game. A team like Ole Miss who doesn't have that talent gets upset by UK or Florida instead.

That's why the blue chip ratio holds true. Talent matters so you don't pick up losses that knock you out before you get a chance to play for a playoff. Now with a longer playoff where you need to win 3-4 games in a row against good opponents to win a title... it matters even more. A plucky Boise State upset OU way back when. But that doesn't work for three games in a row.

It's the same principal as March madness. We get upsets in the first weekend, but we end up with highly ranked teams in the final four most seasons.

We didn’t land the cupcakes us and OSU are going to fight our way in.
Not sure we can win playing at the shoe. I really wish we could have landed the home game.
