These really do stink. Fortunately, only one SEC member school was listed among the SEC states. Mississippi?? Y'all have a weird way to name stadiums, LOL. Legion Field in Birmingham is so bad the upper deck had to be removed and is suffering from severe structural problems. A dump.

Ladd-Peebles is far worse. Legion Field can at least pass as a real stadium on tv

I saw a high school football playoff game on tv from "Cramton ??? Bowl ". in Alabama once. Legion Field is worse than that ?

I haven’t seen Legion Field since it was renovated. I know it was a total dump before that.
Is it better now?

I’d offer Braly Stadium at UNA for worst CFB stadium in Alabama. It’s a D2/high school stadium that they’re using for a D1 stadium for the next couple of years.

Yes, Legion Field is worse than the Cramton Bowl

I prefer that stadium to the Liberty Bowl. If for no other reason than it’s in Nashville vs. Memphis.

I saw the Youtube guy's video on this. It was basically him choosing stadiums based on his ability/inability to use 5th grade humor in describing them.
Mind you, I am not opposed to 5th grade humor when its actually funny.

I guess they’re calling it the “worst” by default, but UAPB has a really, really nice stadium for a SWAC school. There is also a decent amount of fan interest in their program.

Fairly small and dated but no way is it the worst in Tennessee.

Sounds like the old Gator Bowl.
Never been to Legion Field but can't imagine a bigger dump than the Gator Bowl.Suprised there was never a serious
accident or collapse there.

Vanderbilt doesn't have the worst stadium in TN. That would probably belong to UT Martin.

quote:it's been hard to watch El Cid struggle to get the East stands reconstructed. asbestos brought them down in 2016 and a campaign to rebuild ensued. the whole new East side has to be privately funded - the school won't/can't use public funds from the SC State Legislature.

they hoped to have met their $10M goal just under a week ago on 12/31. looks like they're still sitting at $3.5M.

The Citadel bought JHS from the City of Charleston in the early 1960s. if the City had any real vision other than chasing Conde Nast's overly-pretentious approval - it would rejoin El Cid in partnership that rebuilds/upgrades Johnson Hagood completely - and then host a bowl game. the folks up in Horry County have figured out how to do it. meanwhile on the Peninsula...

People in Itta Bena don't know where Itta Bena is.

Georgia - Boddy Dodd Stafium GT. Also known as the Joke by Coke. It’s across the street from Coca Cola headquarters

Our stadium is small, but it isn't THAT bad....

For comparison here is the stadium at Presbyterian College....
