Jefferson under center for LSU will be remembered as the glory years for Bama when LSU and Mett mercy knee you in your own house up by 2 touchdowns in November.

LSU won't be up by less than 14 to wind down the 4th; the game won't come down to the last possession. Hell, Jennings may be the one mercy kneeing y'all.

Mettenberger is going to Updyke and teabag your team at the same time...in your house.

Last I looked bama was still the #1 team in the country with everyone chasing them.

Enjoy that look while it last, especially since this is the worse secondary Sabin has had at Alabama, Mett's going to abuse that secondary over and over again.

Maybe LSU is good; who knows? But with an immobile QB who has yet to face a pass rush this feason, PLUS a suspect running game featuring decent but pedestrian backs (third weakest backfield in SEC), they will have to depend on Crystal Meth reading the defense and getting rid of the ball... quick decisions every play. I have my doubts...

Maybe you should beat the best before you say you are the best.

This team surpasses 2011 in every category.

You can't be serious. Neither the defense nor the Special Teams are close to 2011's level.

I tend to agree and think UGA in particular is the last team you want to line up against late this season. Their D just needs some more games under their belt.

LSU may currently be the best team in the SEC. Hard to say where bama is right now. They are right there with LSU and UGA. JFF and that A&M offense are on another level and just ridiculous. Wouldn't be surprised to see bama's D abuse everyone else they face this year.

I love how you embrace the whole red-headed stepchild role. You hate Alabama so much you can never even bring yourself to capitalize the school's name. It's pretty pathetic, really. Always "Auburn this" and "UGA that" and "bama this."

Whatever child. Don't choke on your Ring Pop.

it must suck even more to lose to Jordan Jefferson 2 years in a row

Yeah, JJ shut down Alabama's running game both years and forced turnovers. He was only responsible for 0 points in the first matchup. An interception return and a blown assignment setup two LSU field goals in regulation. Ford put LSU closer to the goal in OT.

I think the poster meant his own Crystal, not one he inherited from Saban...and almost managed to let that gimme slip from his grasp by being the only 2 loss lottery-level lucky title winner in BCS history.

Alabama's secondary is in for another rough ride, this time against LSU's QB. There will be no stopping Mett, his throws are too d#mn precise.

Major will be put on Bama right in front of their loyal lovable fans. Sabin might want to get shutters, never know when one of those lovable fans might show up with another brick.

Keep tellin' yourself that.

The end year stats will provide plenty of evidence. I will say this though, I bet this game on saturday will knock some of our top 10 defensive categories down a few pegs.
