Hmm, this is awkward.
Kirby took over a team that was 20-6 the 2 seasons prior and lost 10 games in the first 3 seasons.
Kelly took over a team that was 11-12 the 2 seasons prior and lost 11 games the first 3 seasons.

Last time we lost to an unranked team was 2019. Since 2020, we have lost six times four of which were to Bama and their black magic. Other two was an ugly road game at Ole Miss and a playoff game against Notre Dame starting a backup QB

IF bama had not got their shite pushed in by a mediocre ACC team..........5-1
Nothing wrong with that. The one loss would have been at The Shoe by 7.

Remember the days when the SEC had multiple teams with less than 2 losses at the end of the year? One and two loss teams were regularly left out in the cold. The idea of a 3 loss team being the best in the conference was ridiculous. Now, not so much.
The sport goes in cycles and changes. The conference won 1 national title in the 80s, 2 in the 70s, and 3 in the 90s. There’s never been an unprecedented run the 21st century saw with the SEC from any other conference.
The conference won 7 straight national titles from 06-12 with 4 different teams. 4 teams have multiple championships in the 21st century. The SEC made up 60% of the national titles by 5 different schools since 2000 - no other conference has more than 2 schools with titles. Did you really think it would last forever with the game changing?
The conference will adapt and continue winning at the highest clip. The fans of the sport in this conference have literally nothing else. It’s their life and the schools will change to win accordingly.

If LSU doesn't win, I really don't want to see another SEC team win a national championship especially in football, baseball, basketball and gymnastics.

And yes, Alabama is hot dog water. But in the past when Alabama sucked another SEC team filled the void. Now teams from other conferences are.
Georgia has won 2 national titles since Bama’s last one. And got hosed on some very questionable calls in Atlanta against the tide in 2023 or they probably would have 3.
You lost the greatest coach of all time. You were bound to get bloody but no one is falling off the cliff with you, no matter how loud your are screaming at them that they are.

Here is the final record of the two SEC championship game participants the last 20 years.
2005: 11-2, 10-3
2006: 13-1, 10-4
2007: 12-2, 10-4
2008: 13-1, 12-2
2009: 14-0, 13-1
2010: 14-0, 9-5
2011: 13-1, 10-4
2012: 13-1, 12-2
2013: 12-2, 12-2
2014: 12-2, 11-3
2015: 14-1, 10-4
2016: 14-1, 9-4
2017: 13-2, 10-4
2018: 14-1, 11-3
2019: 15-0, 12-2
2020: 13-0, 8-4
2021: 14-1, 13-2
2022: 15-0, 10-4
2023: 13-1, 12-2
2024: 13-3, 11-3
Last year was the first year both teams who played in the SEC championship game ended up with 3 losses each. And it was only the 3rd time the two teams combined for 6 losses. As someone else said, there is more parity.
The two teams who played in the national championship game last season each lost games to unranked teams, OSU to Michigan and Notre Dame to Northern Illinois.
Could you imagine 10 years ago a team with a loss to Northern Illinois playing for a national championship?

That's funny, because at the time, you claimed Notre Dame had drastically improved and was better than they had been in a long time.
Newsflash to Alabama fans, college football does not revolve around you. You're just one in a group of schools that can win a natty in a given year.

Not all P4 teams are created equal. All of those teams were top 10 when we played them, and all of them on the road. We also still won the SEC.

Is Most of this is because we beat each other?
OR is this because of playoff loses?
OR because of bowl games now where all the NFL caliber players opt out of playing in the it doesn’t matter bowls that teams play in for extra practice time for the next year?

So what you're sayin is the SEC is down this year. Lord.

Stacking our conference with more good teams just means more loses for everyone. There are no easy wins in this conference.

They played for a national championship last season. That was the first national championship game they played in since 2012.
So yes, they were better than they had been in a long time.
Only someone with a sub 70 IQ would argue otherwise.
