Yep. Insecure. The lsu fans are scared to death that Texas has knocked them down a peg of two in the sec pecking order in football. Lsu had a great offense in 2019, defense was crap, and lsu got scared and canceled 2020 game

Oh, I don't agree with that at all. I love the other programs hating us.
But it's not the right thing to do. And I hate hate hate how Texas has prioritized fundraising over other things since the 90s.
At least treat visiting fans equitably the way other SEC programs do. It's not right IMO to treat them worse. I hated we switched when we joined the Big 12. I hated that we ended the special relationship with A&M, and I don't have any love lost for the Aggies. I just think it's part of what makes college football so great, and instead our athletic department started chasing dollars and now the dynamic is too politically difficult to reverse, at least in this instance.
Also, I love marching bands. But I'm old.

Yeah, I read an article about this year’s ticket prices, and normal people are being priced out of in-person games.
Yes, I like the bands too, and played trombone in our high school band… don’t care for the music blasting from the Jumbotron…

I can’t stand the “fan experience” at DKR. The music pumping from the Jumbotron is absolutely horrible. All you need are the bands.
