Id put it at a 6% chance.

They'd have voted by now. Universities arent willing to lose money to pay LSU to go away (which they absolutely will have to)

I tried to have a serious discussion but it devolved into anger and threats. So I’m just going to keep it light

I think everyone agrees that the conference should be able to enforce its rules.

Some of you seem to think that LSU should be punished despite not breaking any rules, for some reason. That's where the consistent hangup seems to be happening.

You can't say the conference just wants to enforce its rules, while simultaneously suggesting that LSU should be punished despite breaking no rules. Thats a bad faith argument.

Rules go both ways, if you want members to abide by them, then they can't be a moving target. And they can't be selectively enforced.

the SEC files suit.

Does being in the conference mean we have to let the SEC sue us and not defend the suit?

Or does our AG who isn’t a member of the conference have to also not defend the suit?

Read the lawsuit

I'll ask you again - just what is Sankey asking for in his lawsuit? Your insistence on maintaining your ignorance in the whole matter is astounding. The SEC Presidents have already refused to hold Sankey's vote. That lawsuit is dead. LSU is in no jeopardy of any "punishment" for your imagined wrongdoings but once the season is complete Landry will get the ball and go on offense. Sankey's actions are indefensible.

Sankey and SEC seems to be asking the federal court to limit the LA AG and LSU officials from exercising any legal remedies to prevent or interfere in a vote for expulsion of LSU.

This is of course not going to happen.
If the AG can find any legal means to delay or prevent that vote, she would be perfectly within rights to do so. The judge is not going to order an AG to not do something that is legal.

I saw how how the states are spending money to make up the financial strain on schools athletic budgets..guess which school is on that list...
LSU is hemorrhaging money..I don't think Kiffin gets to keep spending like he thought he would be able to especially when you lose 2 games you had pencilled in as wins. Make no mistake this isn't a rebuild he blew 40-50 million on this roster this was supposed to be a payoff built team. Will LSU let him spend another 4-5 million on another QB? Leavitt isn't going to suddenly develop into some great passer and he has another year...it's going to be interesting to see what happens the rest of the year for LSU and the off-season especially if Kiffin doesn't get any signature wins...
