The SEC's position is that being in the SEC is a privilege. LSU is not entitled to membership in the SEC. If they do not want to follow the position of the league on what they deem to be professional athletes, then LSU can leave the SEC or be removed from it.

All BS aside, I’m really worried about you man. It would seem to me that OM has won this contest. I mean, everyone in the country hates LSU and Kiffin. LSU is going to be kicked out of the conference and take a huge financial hit. There’s no way the season will be a success with Kiffin having to defend the SEC suit.
Seems to me you should be extremely happy, yet you’re here coming off like you’re mad at the world.

LSU is in far more risk than the SEC. Maybe LSU can find some other county hayseed with season tickets to put an injunction on expulsion for awhile but the SEC can and will eventually remove LSU if they push this issue.
