UGA-GT
Fla.-FSU
SC-Clemson
Kentucky-Louisville

These aren't going to be eliminated.

Just to clarify, absolutely no one gives a shite about your yearly scrimmages vs ACC clubs

WHO determines when you HAVE to play non-conf. games?

Ah so glad I have a Bama fan and Florida gay dude here to tell a lifelong Tennessee fan, resident, and alumni who our rivals are. Y’all are so stupid

Give me OU, aggy, and pig in that order. The other six can rotate.

Yeah we should ignore thousands of Vol fans in favor of a 2025 poster on a message board.

A&M playing state as a permanent rival would be wild

Dude go cry about it to your bf or life partner or whatever the hell they call it. It’s obvious you are being neglected in your home life

Stupid idea,,, dont give in to the Big 10 and do this……

It would cause uneven home and away schedules

It doesn’t help anything…..

It is one more loss for half of the SEC every year…….guaranteed….

Better to schedule an annual Big 10 game and keep the 8 game conf schedule….

This year OU plays Michigan and Texass plays OSU. Just do more of this…..

Just to be clear, you sound like LSU fans complaining that we have in-state OOC rivals.

This from the fan base arguing for Kentucky and Vandy every year. Tech has honestly been more competitive against us than the Vols for a decade now.

If those teams want to eliminate a "cupcake" scrimmage, they should trade the Vols for any one of those schools.

If they go with 9 games it won't be tell 2028 season because some out of conference games have to be cancelled.

If you stay at 8, then you can't complain about how long between rematches.

However, I agree an even # of conf. games eliminates the H/A issue.

UK has objectively been a better program than Tech this last ten years. And Vandy can actually beat Bama unlike y’all

9 game conference schedule. 3 permanent rivals. Play the other 6 home and home and then rotate.

A 4 year player plays every SEC team at least twice, once at home and once on road.

You avoid ridiculousness like A&M being in the conference since 2012 and having played Georgie 1 time.

Yep.

Kentucky must have Tennessee and Vandy annually. Third game for our fan base is up for debate. I'd say South Carolina, Mississippi State, or Missouri.

A lot of fans would say they want Florida as our third, but Florida has several important big time football rivalries and we aren't one of them from their perspective. Total non starter and those fans just don't "get it."

Edit: reading through the thread now after responding to this initial post, I see there are a lot of uninformed jackasses ITT poo-pooing UK-UT-VU.

Kentucky and Tennessee have been playing each other since 1893.

Kentucky and Vanderbilt have been playing each other since 1894.

Tennessee and Vanderbilt have been playing each other since 1892.

Learn your fricking SEC history morons.
