There are currently 2 - Sewell and Thomas.
Nobody really immediate, but the next up would probably be Scherzer (didn't play in SEC).
Todd Helton still has a chance.
Possible by not probable
- Donaldson (Auburn)
- Bregman (LSU)
- A. Nola (LSU)
- Alonso (Florida)
The majority of elite players in baseball just don't come from college baseball.

I'd guess Will Clark would end up in the HOF:
6× All-Star (1988–1992, 1994)
NLCS MVP (1989)
Gold Glove Award (1991)
2× Silver Slugger Award (1989, 1991)
NL RBI leader (1988)
San Francisco Giants No. 22 retired
San Francisco Giants Wall of Fame

Clark would get in if he'd played a few more years and reached some of the "milestone" numbers (350 HR, 2,750 hits). Which is a shame, because he retired to be with his autistic son, which is truly admirable. He also played in the dead zone that was Candlestick. If he'd been some other places his power numbers would have been even better. If he'd played in SF a decade later and been at the new stadium they'd have been better.
He probably isn't going to ever get in but he should.

Eh that is kinda outdated. It was that way for a long time but college produces a much larger percent of high level players than it use to

Great player, but what a temper. Easy to get inside his head. He could not control his temper to save his life, though.

I would've thought Will Clark would make it, but I stopped following MLB when they cancelled the World Series in '94.
frick them.
Forever.
I know, I don't care.

For ever.

Sewell didn’t play in the SEC either

A fact. They are growing up in the minor system. Colleges get what's left and always have.

But he played against the schools in what would be the SEC (State, LSU, Ole Miss, Sewanee, Tennessee) in a precursor to the SEC (SIAA).
Scherzer played in the Big 12 in an era where the SEC existed.
Doesn't really matter, obviously.

Coached Alabama in the SEC. Elected to the Hall while the SEC existed.

Kinda surprised Will Clark isn't in the HOF.

Rafael Palmero?
I get why they're left off, but it doesn't change the fact that they were still better than their competition, many of whom were also taking similar substances while competing against them.

The HOF has lost a lot of my respect by keeping Curt Schilling out. His bloody sock game was the most iconic pitching performance of the last 20 years
