This is the legal cover that the NCAA needed to start enforcing stuff again. Sorry, it's bad news for the dirt bag pay for play programs
And which program do you support, exactly?

Folks are running with that narrative to undermine Texas success. We were losing 7 games in the Big12 with Top 3 classes. Thats how dysfunctional the program was from administration down to the football staff.

Supreme Court opened this up. They aren't getting sidestepped by some little clearinghouse.
It's gonna come down to making a league and abiding by the rules of the league. If you don't want to do that, then you can go make your own league.

Exactly. Recruiting is one thing a Texas fan shouldn't have to worry about. Texas always Recruited elite talent.

Try enforcing that $600 limit. Everyone has lawyers that can make it fine. If not, bag men.

Texas pays for linemen and QBs. They will lose out on other positions because Sark conserves NIL for linemen Moving forward, they will lose out on battles at RB, WR/TE and DB. Just watch.

WRs like Lockett, Wingo, and French? TEs like Endries?
Bitch please......texas is massively overpaying for everybody under the sun, just like aggie is again.
You two are locked in debit card death struggle against each other, as predicted.

To suggest that the players should just shut up and be happy with their free room and board and free meal plans and free online badmintion classes is just bizarre.
This description of D1 college athlete benefits makes you sound like a spoiled rich kid, or Carson Beck. Same difference I guess, although Carson Beck's parents can't cut him off when he turns into a frick up.

If you don't throw a flag, it's not a penalty. If you don't write a ticket, a speed limit sign is useless.
Can "The House" make college football and basketball teams pay for going around, through, or over the RS salary cap? If they can, we have something that will work.

I bet you didn’t mind when Saban was buying championship teams every year

Aren't y'all paying John Mateer $3 million?

You really have no notion of how much talent Les Miles accumulated during his run, do you? What a hypocrite.

It's all going through the motions of new policies and them getting struck down with lawsuits until they just go with employee/employer model with the Big10 and the SEC breaking off from the NCAA for football at the very least. Then when they get a CBA in place, there will be a salary cap that includes money for NIL. The schools are just putting on a show so the public thinks they "tried" to hang on to the amateur model as long as they could.

We didn't have a QB and had to have one. What difference does what we paid for Mateer make?

It means OU swiping the debit card too.

Bama
Miles success was only from the after affects of Saban.
Soon after that after affect saban success they wanted to run Miles out of LSU so he did everything he could and somehow got to a title game and thats when Saban shout him out, not one point scored in a title game.
Overrated and Sabans Bitch.

Lol, why would anyone "hate" college football players getting paid?
My hate is multifaceted
I do hate that players are no longer amateur. I also hate the the Universities got greedy years ago and sold out every tradition and all the common man fans out to enrich themselves

Point of order: Miles "somehow got to a title game" and beat the dogshit out of tOSU to take the trophy.
The other championship game he got to was by going undefeated, beating Bama in Tuscaloosa, and winning the SECCG, not just "somehow" like before.
