This game is so big because LSU is coming to town. Gumps need to get over it. The last game in Alabama wasn't big and the next game won't be big. All the hype is because LSU is coming. That must suck for the Bammers. The attention follows LSU.

As a tiger fan, I apologize for this rantards attempt to flame. It was a pitifully embarrassing attempt.

God, I can't wait for this game to get here so this website returns to normal.

You know its bad when you want this site to go back to the way it was.

You're forgetting the other half of the equation. The other reason this game is so big.

Because LSU is coming to Tuscaloosa. Go your arse into Oxford and see how much coverage the game gets.

In the meantime, shitty thread.

come on man - I mean seriously. Anyone who tries to denote the other as "sucking" or 2nd rate or any of the bull shite is a jack arse. 2 top teams in the land going at it, top programs the whole bit. Talk shite, but you have to admit who the opponent is, and not be a jack arse.

You would think you are talking about Ole Miss.

This totally sucks for me. I also don't get attention because I'm not playing in the game. This also sucks for me. I was all ready for a good weekend and now I realize that everything sucks for me and probably all my fellow Bammers. Don't jump fellas.

This post does not even deserve to be dignified by offering up a retort.

I actually agree with the OP. This game is big because #1 LSU is coming to Tuscaloosa.

As a "Bammer," if you are making the trip to Tuscaloosa, I wish you and your family safe travels. We "Bammers," have much respect for LSU. Good Luck & God Bless! RTR!

P.S.- Thanks for kicking the shite out of Auburn last week, it was fun to watch!

No, it's big because its 1 vs 2 in the SEC in teh regular season. If it was Auburn, Tennessee, Georgia, or hell even someone exotic like USC or Ohio State it would be just as big.

Let me ask you, would it be as big if it was #2 bama vs #5 LSU in tuscaloosa? No...it's so big because of the rankings and the 'uniqueness' of it being a regular season home game.

You are right. Sometimes I just think some LSU fans think they have a bigger rivalry with Bama than they actually do. I don't hate LSU and my friends and family don't hate LSU. LSU will never have the rivalry that we have with Auburn or Tennessee.

I can stomach a loss to LSU, I just can't take one to Auburn or Tennessee.

LSU doesn't even have orange as one of their colors so I don't even get totally repulsed when I see their team or fans.
