Buck up on him"? WTF does that mean?
You’ve never heard of this expression? Is Alabama that removed from the rest of society?
Hell. Alabama folks are more likely to "buck up" on somebody than any other people I know. And sure. Most of them know exactly what it means.
I was born in Alabama and lived most of my life in Georgia, and I know for sure that, in spite of my above noted observation, native Georgians and Alabamians are more alike than not.

Watch out, animated gif avatars can get you a ban.

CMR was like Coach Valium as he aged.
Pruitt is like Coach Crack/Cocaine.
Opposites didn't attract; that's basically what happened.

Heard that one....Also heard from a former player that Pruitt tried to get AD McGarrity to shitcan Richt in the middle of the 2015 season and then name him the interim HC.
I expect McGarrity got quite the chuckle over that....IF it's an accurate story.

Too bad, it's the only image I can find of that. Being a geek accountant, it fits me pretty well.

Yeah, if true, shows how stupid/ immature/delusional Pruitt was/is.
That said, with his passion he MIGHT be a good coach. If so, he's gonna have to learn to chill like Boom is learning (I think).

Fck yeah. Alpha dog.

Now that I think about it... Saban, Belichick, Tom Landry, Richt all share a similar sideline disposition - they are cool cucumbers that don't show a ton of emotion.
I kinda like the fire of Pruitt and Boom. Kirby might be a perfect mix.

Seems like Pruitt saw Richt as a weak leader that he could push around.
Posted on 7/18/18 at 10:36 am to RhodeDawg
Well, if these stories are true and Pruitt wasn't fired on the spot, it kind of lends credence to it.

Jeremy Pruitt can coach a good defense but that is about it. He's too stupid to actually manage anything, which is why he will crash and burn at Tennessee.
Hopefully he hasn't burned all of his bridges in the coaching profession (evidently he is not popular among other coaches) and is smart with his money, otherwise might end back up in a trailer on Sand Mountain.

Well orchestrated smear campaign by Kirby here.

These rumors were flying around in the middle of Richt's last season. A lot of people thought Pruitt was going to get fired mid-season (not for his coaching, but for being an a-hole) but Richt pussed out.
Posted on 7/18/18 at 10:40 am to Bham Bammer
Maybe, but that is not Richt's style- he would not have wanted to destroy his entire career. As Teddy just said, if other coaches aren't fond of Pruitt it's likely that's because they respect Richt.
I was done with CMR but he's a solid human being and that's likely why he let Pruitt "slide."

Typical white trash shite.
Which is why he is a perfect fit for Tennessee. Also, how do you not know what asparagus is by your 40’s? In the words of Jeremy Pruitt, “I ain’t never heard of it”

Yeah, definitely Kirby has nothing to do with it. Aaron Murray getting this fired up yesterday and Pollack continuing it today is just guys that are very loyal to Richt and not caring for Pruitt, which makes sense given what you all have told me in this thread.

He was probably in his early 30s when that asparagus thing went on MTV. Still doesn't really excuse it, though. However, he'd probably barely left the state of Alabama at that point and asparagus isn't really that popular in rural Alabama.

Pollack and Murray can suck my dick, but Kirby definitely told them to talk about Pruitt's time at Georgia.
