These guys on the SEC Network are beating around the bush here and talking about how they heard stories about how Pruitt treated Richt in Athens being terrible.
Of course they won't actually say what happened. Some of you UGA guys please fill in the blanks here. Pollack is driving me nuts here alluding to the stories but refusing to actually say anything.

He was pissed about something Shottenheimer said or was doing running the offense, decided to visit Richt at his home and buck up on him on the front porch.
Typical white trash shite.

He showed up to Richt's house drunk in the middle of the night and challenged him to a fight.

"Buck up on him"? WTF does that mean?

In reality, it is pretty overblown. Grantham did worse, and as long as our defense was good, nobody gave a shite about inner struggles or arguments. Hell, we liked "the fire" and "the passion" as long as we were winning games.

We heard that Pruitt showed up at CMRs house and was somehow unhinged. I don't know much more than that and it's actually hearsay on my part.
There were stories about him losing it a few other times IIRC.

So basically he just did what all the UGA fans wanted to do?
That's crazy.
That's crazy.

You’ve never heard of this expression? Is Alabama that removed from the rest of society?

I may have heard it but I haven't heard it enough for it to stick. Yes, I'm so removed from high-class culture that the term "buck up on him" has eluded me.

Also heard rumors that Thomas Brown (former RB and RB coach) had to be restrained from taking Pruitt's head off at one point during the season. There was some serious animosity between the offensive (frick Schittenheimer) and defense staffs that season.

Pruitt yanked Mark Richt's panties and gave him a wedgie. Pollack and Aaron Murray couldn't see the humor.

I think Thomas Brown was ready to take his head off because he felt like Pruitt was disrespecting CMR.

Just google it. The true meaning is the exact opposite of the google results.

Could be fascinating to watch Pruitt at UT. If he falters, it could get ugly fast.

Yeah, I don't think he likes humble pie. And it's hard to imagine he won't get fed an awful lot of it over the next two or three years at least.
