Jeremy was insubordinate at times. I don't know about the midnight housecall. Some say it's absolutely true, others say it is just rumor. I do know that things got so bad with rumors that Richt had to use social media to say all coaches were still working hard, so no one would think he'd fired anyone.

Jeremy did a great job in Athens. He did not respond well to adversity as an assistant. Will he respond well to it as the head man? That is the question.

No. He might have been Richt's car at midnight, but I have it on good authority he was not Richt's house. He was never his house and will never be his house.

Dumb shite, you originally called him a reporter. That's why I used "quotes" and then referred to him as a reporter after you did. Try to keep up.

Others have it on good authority that Thomas Brown was at Richt's house at midnight.

Funny... I don't see anything in the definition there that explicitly states writing articles is a requirement for "reporters".

I never said I didn't call him a reporter.
I merely pointed out that they call sideline reporters....reporter.

And you are getting me confused with another Georgia poster.

Imagine. A Tennessee fan trying to troll Georgia and the Tennessee fan is getting trolled and frustrated.

No they don't. Other's have hearsay and rumors.
You would never make a good reporter.

I believe it was you who referred to them as 'reporters.'

They're both football analysts. Pollack for ESPN, and Murray for CBS Sports.

Nah... Serraneaux is an idiot... but DL referenced them as reporters:

quote:

Heaven forbid a reporter have an opinion on something. They should all just sit down and be quiet, right? They should do what reporters are supposed to do. Be quiet.

But... it ultimately comes down to the definition of a reporter and how rigid you'd like to use it. I think it's not a far leap at all to consider football analysts a *type* of sports reporter.

I'm sorry if you think that Pollack and Murray are reporters.

I mean this is ticky-tack. The guy used the term reporters originally as a reference to people who provide and disseminate information through media outlets. So what. Yes, those guys are really commentators and not reporters but who cares.

He's getting me mixed up with Underdog. He is trying his best to play "Gotcha!" and troll us, but he is the one getting twisted up and frustrated.

Wish I could stay and twist his panties some more, but I gotta go to the Farmer's market and get some Purple Hull peas.

Please feel free to continue harassing the troll for me, Fib!

Exactly... It's semantics at best... but if you look at the definition of a reporter... they *are* in fact meeting the definition, given that both Pollack and Murray routinely perform interviews and facilitate discussions for sports related topics. Serraneaux at his finest I suppose.

Routinely as in seasonally? Who did they interview in April?

As far as Pollack's comments go, the take I get from it is that Pruitt will run over you...If you, as a head coach allow him to do so. He's saying that Saban and Fisher kept him in check because he knew where he stood with the 2 of them.

I guess Richt wasn't strong enough...or didn't want to be...to pull the trigger and get rid of him for insubordination.

LMAO at this insubordination BS. It's football, things get heated.

How many coaches have ever gotten fired mid season for insubordination?

Tony Franklin under Tubbs?

Looks like Pollack is an analyst, not a reporter:

Analyst aka not a reporter
