texas a&m was an all male military school for 100 years

in 1926, the Texas Rangers had to stop a train with a band of Aggies and a cannon from going to Waco and avenging the death of a fellow Ag

we put more officers in the military than the rest of the SEC combined

As one united student body, we built bonfire

Ewwww!
I DO remember that story—thanks for the links (I think).
I thought you were saying that behavior was a tradition at our university.

Between you and me, Ags aren’t collectively down with that stupid stunt.

I know man. I have a large portion of my family that attended A&M and I honestly think College Station is my 3rd favorite SEC trip outside of Vandy and Athens.

Texag7 just takes a ton of unnecessary, incorrect shots at LSU and Louisiana and opens himself up to shite like this.

It’s actally kind of funny, I remember him asking about Shreveport because he wanted to apply to medical school there but obviously he didn’t get in. Dudes probably selling insurance now.

Soft is having to live behind make believe stories, the howitzer/Texas Rangers event is fantasy folklore.

Texas A&M has a soft culture. In everything from yell rehearsals to their football practices, they—the football players and fans—carry a quivering posture. They play and partake in everything surrounding football with a white collar attitude. Anything gritty or aggressive is frowned upon and looked-down-the-nose at. You can see this in the way their defense hits pads and fans hold their dinner plates. Bringing in elite coaches does not help, because no one man, or his yes-men, can affect who funds the program and who cheers for the team on Saturdays. I've heard Texans say that aggy culture is not compatible with real Texan culture.

The aggies are ok and I am glad they joined the conference. But they played in a less physical league for decades and they have not yet been able to adjust to our style of ball. But they will and jumbo is the guy who can do it.

Did y'all hear about the Aggies getting a grant for new septic tanks?

They were going to invade Austin, but couldn't figure out how to drive 'em...

Hate to break up your aggy fantasy of mental masturbation & victories over "tu windmills", but there were no train tracks from College Station to Waco in 1926.

JFC you idiots are too good to be true.
