re: Outside of Starkville, is Baton Rouge the trashiest SEC college town?

Baton Rouge is a complete shithole and I lived there seven years and was born there. Complete shithole.

Saw him once at house of blues in New Orleans. He is taller and bigger than you think.

It was clearly a catch and this was clear at the time. Don’t really know what the fuss is about. Sour grapes.
re: Why do LSU fans not want Alabama to be in the playoffs?
Posted by bruintiger on 12/3/23 at 10:59 am to John Milner
Goes back to 2011 when bama got the mulligan. LSU went undefeated and beat bama at bama and then bama got into the final because its bama. they are trying for the same thing today but with a bit of a better case, but I still say no. There are three undefeated conf champs. Period. the last slot goes to Texas over bama because texas has already beaten bama. this is colloege ball and not pro ball. no do overs.

bama hyper-sensitivity is obvious and plain and there is a reason for the hyper-sensitivity. Nothing sets you off like pointing out preferential treatment. It is amusing....

your hyper-sensitivity is the tell.

We lost that game in the second half and that is clear and we lose without that egregious call, but the preferential treatment is a fact that everyone else in the conference complains about because it is true. Lets move the SEC office to New Orleans or Nashville or Atlanta or Jackson or somewhere besides bama.

Bama always gets these "judgment" calls. been going on for years
Refs/bias

The fact that bama gets preferential treatment is like the fact that the main stream media is for the left. Everyone knows its true. you gumps can whine all you want but this is a fact of life and the hit on Daniels is a quintessential example of this preferential treatment. Please just admit the obvious and lets all move on.

is there anyone on this board old enough to remember the carlotta street halloween party with the shite dogs. their first set usually began at midnite. they were raunchy, grungy and very lsu. sweet memories. when chimes street was chimes street with magoos, plasma lab, head shop, louie's, book store, library and the bayou. playing rugby on the parade grounds and lsu in london-summer of 1979, lsu v usc...anyone else here old enough to have enjoyed these things/ lsu was a blast

Eric Reid's interception was a reviewable play. Not what I am talking about. Bama benefits from non reviewable calls like holding. pass interference or roughing the passer. I am sorry but EVERYONE knows its a thing and the bama hypersensitivity on this point makes my case.

If the SEC officiating office was in New Orleans and all the refs were from Baton Rouge and New Orleans you might understand. It is very real.

You don’t sound amused.

If bama bias is a hoax then why respond at all? Especially when it’s so obviously a hoax. According to you. The fact is that bama responds with hysterics because deep down they know it’s true.

This is a pretty good answer. That said, why is bama hypersensitive about this? And its not like only LSU complains about this. EVERYONE sees it. Why?

why would this be an embarassing thread/ nothing important and reached my objective. others carrired the torch of research and i was vindicated. lets review games from 2005 till 2015 and see who had the most offensive holding calls. then we will know. so come on rednecks start digging
