To be fair to us Ole Miss fans, we never claimed we were going to win the Natty after having the #1 portal class.
We just thought we'd be in a good position to make the playoffs and hopefully make a run.
Then again, we were coming off a 11-2 season and had the #1 portal class (that was far better than this portal class LSU is bringing in).
But even still, we didn't have morons claiming we'd win the Natty even with all that.
Lane is still the portal king btw.
