The poor Vols are in a really bad spot this week.

Playing UAB in the early kickoff time slot after such a devastating loss last week could get very tricky.
Im certainly not predicting an upset but this game has a very sleepy weird feel to it. Vols better take care of business and not let the Georgia game last week beat them twice.

Did UAB win 2 games last year? Just so long as we don't lose to a team that only won 2 games last year I think I will be ok.

UAB has been pretty awful since they handed the reigns to Trent Dilfer.

In these situations it's not the team they are playing but they themselves that cause hiccups.

The Florida State University Fighting Seminoles are a top 7 football program in the country. That was a quality loss Pawwl. Did you see the mighty Tide shut out Louisiana Mon-roe Pawl? Then we absolutely dominated the Big 10s Wisconsin. Thats a power 5 win. Alabama is back Pawwl. Ty Simpson should be the Heisman favorite. I never doubted Kalen DeBoer was the right man for the job.

Tennessee should beat the hell out of UAB. This is college football though and it wouldn’t be a total shocker to see Tennessee go out and at least struggle in this game for a while because of the emotions involved in losing last week. It’s not like upsets doesn’t happen in college football.

That is true. They are dreadful but this is still a dangerous spot for the Vols if they don’t shake off last week and come to play.

He is surprisingly bad. I kind of expected him to have at least some moderate success at UAB but he has been awful so far.

This is college football not the NFL. It’s not like we have not watched teams get upset before coming off a gut wrenching loss like Tennessee is this week. Then throw in an early kick on top of that. Tennessee should roll but it’s still a very tricky spot.
