No. Because those rarely happen. Thats how it works. When something happes A LOT is when it becomes expected.

Like BAMA beating uga.

BAMA is 1-1 vs FSU in the last two.
17-2 vs tenner in the last 19
And 0-2 vs OU the last two trips to Normon.

Uga on the other hand has beaten BAMA once since 2008 in 10 tries. And there wasnt that much success before that either. 26 wins in 75 tries all time.

So yes, BAMA beating uga is expected.

OK cool, I mean Ohio State hasn't beaten Michigan in years, is Michigan the standard in that same vein? OSU's the defending national champ and they could very well lose Michigan AGAIN this year in Ann Arbor and still be a natty contender. I'm just trying to comprehend this logic that Georgia isn't the new standard according to Bama fans when their last natty was January 2021.

Ole Miss, Miss St, Texas and Ga Tech will not be easy outs. Miss St can not only pass the ball but can run the ball very effectively. They should have beaten Tennessee. They are vastly improved. There are four games right there if UGA doesn't show up and show out could be two losses. Ole Miss' offense will give UGA's defense a ton of problems because UGA cannot pressure the QB. Ga Tech will give y'all a helluva game and that one will probably go down to the wire. They are a tough and very physical team with a dynamic offense.

Ole Miss has the worst rush D in the SEC, I know LSU sucks at offense so their performance in Oxford is probably the anomaly or outlier this season for the rebs compared to the rest of their SEC games

You're changing the subject because you are wrong which is typical.

Nobody said anything about a standard. If Michigan beats OhioSt 9/10 times, yeah I think they'll start to expect it, which is what we were talking about. Expectations, not who is the standard.

Does uga expect to beat uk? Why?

Try to stay on point, skeeter.

Is Pavia going to make a career out of college football? He's 24 going up against a lot of teenagers. It was time to move on to the CFL after last year. Or transfer to BYU.

Can't be that much worse than BAMA's.

You know what uga is NOT going to do vs Ole Miss?
Sit in zone and dare OM to run it, because they can and will. Is the Ole Miss qb capable of doing what Ty did to uga's secondary?
That will be the difference in the game IMO.

Are they going to onside kick after they score?

BAMA does get possessions you know?

This logic

quote:

That's not the point. The point is when you declare yourself "better than" another program, yet you cannot beat them head to head, don't be surprised when you get crap thrown back in your face. UGA is not and never will be "our superbowl". So to even suggest that is ignorance of the Alabama program and fanbase.

You're starting to sound like Michigan's fanbase or the guys from Spinal Tap with this rhetoric, the longer you get away from your last natty no matter what you accomplished in the interim, talk like that sounds disconnected from reality. If that's your fanbase's MO, congratulations and hey, it's possible you accomplish a lot with how your QB plays but let's let the season play out first before we start self-parody on a weekly basis.

If Vandy throws more than 15 times then their coach should have to walk back to Nashville.

We are soft against the run.

Ole Miss' offensive line is not that great, Stockton and Co will not be neutralized AT HOME like Nuss and Co were AT OXFORD, I can't see it

So you think uga's front 7 is better than LSU's?

You're trying to understand why we don't think you're our superbowl or why we expect to beat y'all everytime we play you? You're not being very clear. So I'll address both.

1. You're not our superbowl- We don't deem the season a success just because we beat UGA. It's a good win, but our season isn't about this one game. We want titles and Alabama has always been about that. The game against UGA was important, but it isn't our season. We're not Auburn.

2. We can brag about our win (and the winning streak) against UGA because you and your fanbase would have done the exact same thing if y'all would have won and don't even attempt to say that wouldn't be the case. If UGA had won 9 out of the last 10 against Bama that's all y'all would talk about. So just because it gets thrown in your face doesn't mean something else isn't true. Two things can be true at the same time. We can brag about beating you and national titles and conference titles be our main goal, like it always has been.

Uga missed the playoff and lost to Notre Dame (lol) in the last two seasons.

If you think your team now is as good as your 22 team, you smoke Crack. Why was your 22 team so successful even? BAMA wasn't on the schedule.

Uga couldn't beat a BAMA team that changed coaches last year, nor could they beat a first year starter at qb this year at home.

Uga is going to struggle down the stretch. And we know what happens if they have to play BAMA in the SECCG. Uga gets to go to a NYD bowl.

Crowd needs to be rowdy on 1st and 2nd down. If Vandy is constantly in 3rd and short, we’re dunzo

I get the feeling all the sports talking heads who’ve jumped on the Vandy bandwagon are about to see this team get rolled.

Bama is going to win something like 42-14 and everyone is going to finally notice that Vandy has played probably the easiest first five games of any team in the history of the SEC.
