Very nice, as I said 3rd in 9 seasons > 3rd in 20.

Whatever makes you sleep better at night.

Yes it is, I never said otherwise. You posted the following and I answered. Only a handful of teams have a resume as good or better than Bama during the last two decades. Which seems to contradict your assertion.

That is one helluva bizarre statement. In the same way Kentucky is the "team to hate" in basketball?

Hardly.

But the PR thing here will be tricky for Bama. Saban votes OSU @ #4. Bama getting into the BCS despite losing to its opponent at home already.

Plus the fact that you're not going to win Jan9th.

Should I go ahead & kill myself now? If some commentors on ESPN.com don't like me, I don't see much more reason to go on with this sad, wretched existence.

Can we please call them back & tell them we don't want to be in this game anymore? Please?

Guys, we've worked too hard for too many years to build up our rep in the comment section of ESPN.com. A national championship just isn't worth tarnishing that reputation. I can't
live with myself knowing that OSU is more liked on the Internet than Alabama.

my bama crap is selling like hotcakes on ebay. aubies won't buy shite when they're winning, so you can guess what it's like now. I will say this, NFL-wise, back when the Saints stunk on ice, the fans still bought stuff. loyal fans thick or thin

I do care about Alabamas image. But at the same time, this is not something Alabama did. This is the BCS. We have no control over it, so it really is pointless to get bent out of shape about people being pissed. It happens almost every year. Someone is always going to be pissed. Do oklahoma state fans have a right to bitch? Absolutely. But they should direct their hate towards the BCS, not Alabama. That's why I don't give a shite. Any other team in the country would feel the same if they were in our position. LSU fans, Okie st fans, Sooners, etc

If that were the case, Nick Saban would not be our coach.

You must be a marketing professional...I mean what organization would worry about their brand image. That Bammer college be dumb for protecting their image.

it's a different kind of hate than hating great dynasties like the Yankees, Lakers, Manchester United, 70's Bama, etc.

it's the same kind of HATE and RIDICULOUSNESS after I saw Arky getting robbed against Florida in 2009.

according to a ESPN poll with more than 300,000 voters, entire nation except Alabama didn't want to see a rematch. now according to another poll everybody except Alabama wants to see the Tigers win.

this can't be good for Bama. if they lose, they'll be remembered as the most hated loser in history, and 3 in a row against Miles might be the start of the downfall for Bama. if they win, it'll be one of the most tainted title ever.

Bammer doesn't care about tainted titles. Look at the 5 or 6 they claim that are complete jokes. If some geologist on the sugar bowl committee wants to start his own poll and, one year massages it so that sugar bowl bound bammer ranks #1, they'll take it. If some organization awards a championship 15 years after the fact, they'll take it.

Bammer didn't even bother claiming some of those titles until the 1970's when some guy in the media guide dept decided to start including them for no particular reason other than he was feeling like his dick was a bit too small one morning and needed an ego boost.

The butthurt on this board is off the charts. It's like a 2 year old that just had his favorite toy ripped from his hands. The toy in this case was the flaming that Rantards on this board would have done in rubbing the noses of Alabama fans in the fact that Oklahoma State fans would have squeezed by us in the final poll. The BCS Sytem is like the parent who ripped that toy away from the child and now he's rolling around on the floor screaming. The meltdown has been awesome.

In all seriousness, SOMEONE (either Alabama or Oklahoma State) was going to get screwed in this situation. BOTH teams had a very strong argument for the #2 spot and picking the #2 team in this situation shouldn't come down to splitting hairs. It isn't fair to Okie State OR Alabama. It just so happens it barely worked out for Alabama in this case. The bottom line is that there either needs to be a +1 playoff or an 8 team playoff. This was the perfect year for a +1. #1 LSU vs. #4 Stanford and #2 Alabama vs #3 Oklahoma State.

This is the kind of publicity that gives your school's brand a NEGATIVE, something different that "hate as rival", nothing like that at all.

second Crystal in three years and third overall, which will be more than any other team. Good enough for me.

Actually clown...LSU will be playing for their third crystal.

And when we win, we'll actually have 3. Sorry gump, as usual you're wrong.
