The OL didn't do such a good job on this one.. and maybe the play call wasn't the best, but that's a great defensive play call.
In hindsight, if the slot had run a simple drag route, he would have cut off the path for the safety/lb to cover the RB.. but based on the WR routes, this was clearly a called QB run.

That was with Milton under center and a new group of WR that just lost two studs to the NFL including Jalin freakin Hyatt. A huge drop off was expected.

The bad snap and piss poor blocking did not help. Alabama lost this game in regulation..on defense.
