Seems like ags are looking to pin things on anyone other than Jimbo.
They simply can't admit that Jimbo isn't the guy they want him to be.
He averaged 3.67 losses a year (with only 1 year with less than 3) in the baby soft ACC when his QB wasn't Jameis Winston.
Now he moves into what has been the historically most difficult division in college football and they somehow expect him to do better.

While bringing in lower ranked classes on average than he did at Florida State.

With the salary and control he's been given, Jimbo, and Jimbo alone, is responsible for the situation at aTm.
That is the truth.

Isn't Turner the one responsible for recruiting and developing all those first rounders who blocked for Manziel?

Our entire offensive coaching staff except for the former LSU RB coach is lost including Jimbo. Jimbo is absolutely to blame.
The fact that our best coach on offense is a coach that LSU was happy to let go tells you everything. Bunch of failed coaches on that side of the ball.

Yep . . . .he was the OL coach under Mike Sherman through 2011 until he left for the Dolphins.
That was quite the draft run.
Luke Joeckel - 2nd overall in 2013
Jake Matthews - 6th overall in 2014
Cedric Ogbuehi - 1st rounder in 2015
Germaine Ifeldi - 1st rounder in 2016
Henson has a very young but very talented squad that he will keep building on. We lose Kenyon Green who is universally considered a first round pick but there are serious freshman talents learning on the go.

Gonna be great when LSU's terrible O-line meets Aggy's terrible O-line.

So the assistants aren't good at their jobs?
Who picks the assistant coaches at aTm? It sounds like that guy isn't very good at his job either.
He sounds an awful lot like that idiot in Baton Rouge with the exception of hiring Joe Brady.

Anyone else thinking this doesn't add up at all?
Of the seven OL signees under Jim Turner, only 3 are still on the team and 2 are starting, all 2019 players. Turner left for the Cincinnati Bengals right after the 2019 class had already signed.
The 4 2018 signees have a COMBINED 2 games worth of playing time since they enrolled at A&M. One is now starting for UH, one medically retired (the highest ranked one) and one quit football altogether. The only one still on the roster, Luke Matthews, has had 3 season ending surgeries.
That's 0 for 4 on offensive linemen who would be redshirt junior or senior starters right now.

That still doesn't explain why our current, 2021 OL blows donkey arse.

Your current offensive line coach had 3 years to rectify that situation.
