Heading down to the forgotten coast on Saturday for a couple of weeks.

Yes our vacations are strategically timed for the sports dead period.

Buy you a good metal detector. Find some old houses or land that had old houses on them. Go early in the morning and see what you can find.

Bitch I played soccer in diplomatic leagues. I literately played association football on 4 continents. I was part of both under 9 and under 12 teams that played for the US pacific command, the Asian command and African command.

Take your country bumpkin arse back to Royston Ga and remember who you are. I bet your bumpkin arse doesn’t even have a stamp in a passport.

Not since the last strike. I was a Cleveland Indians fan and refuse to bother now.

Silly to assert that playing as a child automatically provides the sophistication required to enjoy high level professional soccer as an adult.

Playing the game at a higher level than you will ever see in person (yes, 12 year olds playing for their country is higher than MLS) granted me insight into the game. Living in countries for years were Soccer was the national pastime, were they played pickup games of soccer, were they shutdown commerce to watch friendlies grants me insight into the “high sophistication” of codices kick the can.

You are not sophisticated because you are watching a fade game that will never catch on in the States. Stop putting on Aires to compensate for have never done anything or been anywhere interesting. Stick to Bucees and ALDIs as the pinnacle of central Georgia existence.

That’s an idea. My family still has land out in Friendsville with a couple of old foundations to explore

They are on peacock so I’ll look for Fencing trials if nothing else. It’s just the doldrums of summer.

I was explaining this to my wife after Monday night (Stanley Cup and CWS ending) that we’ve entered the depths of hell for sports until football starts. She replied simply, “Good.”

I guess I’ll watch some Olympics - may help fill the void just a little.

I think there's a few SEC schools that have men's soccer but they play in C-USA or Big 12

A normal person with this kind of experience would love summer pro soccer, so what went wrong with you?

Get on the water early. Find some deeper cover. Tie up a Texas rig. That always gets me through to dove season.
