Yeah that's what I have heard. The NCAA will decide after an investigation, but before then it is up to the school to rule him ineligible.

I live in Montgomery as well and I know all these stories and many people (some relatives) that worked at Colonial/Lowder and are still employed with BB&T. The corruption in Montgomery polictics is shocking and there will be very few that will get through this whole thing unscathed, IMO.

Unfortunately for you... you are correct. But, only half-correct.
They == ChinJizz and his staff, probably had no prior knowledge of the payments being made.
They == Pat Dye, Lowder & Co. appear to have orchestrated the whole thing. I think, by definition, that means they *knew* about it, yes?
NCAA rules are pretty clear, if an agent of the university pays a player -- both the school and the player(s) will be penalized.
Now, I *may* be wrong... But, I think the NCAA will consider any Barner BOT, and the name sake of the damn Football field to be an agent of the University.
But, hey, that's just me (and apparently, about 600 people that have contributed to this thread).

I was able to put together the cliff notes on the SECr, version of the OJ Simpson Trial, together with a listing of Names, Organizations, history, etc. The problem is it's 24 pages of info, which probably equates to roughly 2-3 pages of threads. Let me know if you want me to include it on the back of this thread, or start a new one, or if you want it condensed further
BTW, when you put all of this together in one concise story, it really does read like a Grisham Novel. My Dad (who I really made the effort in compiling this for) could not put it down. .
