Im going to organize a campaign that encourages Hog fans to travel to Starkville with air horns this year. That would be fair, right?
How many air horns do you think I could buy for just under 7k? Serious questions.
12 Portable Hand Held Air Horns for 25.00 plus 7.95 shipping
Id imagine that theyd give you a break on the shipping if you bought 7k worth but if not then you could get 2544 airhorns. I know Id definitely donate to the cause

I believe in the equal opportunity of artificial noisemakers as well. I'd like to see LSU fans bring cowbells to the home game next season. I'm 100% positive someone will say something if we do it and the issue will be addressed. If they make it ok for everyone to have noisemakers then ring away MS.

I went to the MS game this year, the people were great, great before game atmosphere. spent a lot of money in the town. BUT, the cowbells were just a headache and the reason my family will never go back there. Why dont they just bring truck horns? Anyone can artifically make noise...just a symbol of weakness.

i wish the sec would change the rule to a 15 yrd penalty everytime they ring them when they aren't supposed to.

Serious Question of the New Day.
Would State fans turn in all those "supplemental redneck noise makers" for just ONE win over LSU in their lifetime?

Funny, years of MSU whining to the SEC is what got State their own special rule concerning the cowbells. NOBODY whines like MSU.

Because it was a bowl game, the Music City Bowl officials didn't mind the cowbells at all because they knew our 40,000 fans at the game were bringing 10 times more money to their city than the couple thousand Wske Forest fans did.

This, but even more, have every team's fans in the SEC do it at every game until they address it fairly. Paint "Hear This SEC? NCAA?" on them just to show them how stupid their rules are and that the fans actually can control things. Ring like hell in-between plays - and see what happens. It's probably going to take something like this, but it actually could happen and work.

As Chairman and CEO of 99 cent stores thank you to all Mississippi State fans for coming to Nashville, for the Music City Bowl what a great sound echoed throughout Nashville and middle Tennessee.

I would love to see LSU fans show up against Alabama next year with Air Horns, Vuvuzelas, Cowbells and every other noisemaker for that nationally televised game to prove a point. I would say do that to Mississippi State, but I would much rather play a team in a game that has national importance. That affirmative action rule would no longer be in effect.
