Should have swapped times with the Egg Bowl.

Does anyone prefer the game to be on Turkey Day?

Starting to look like we're not going to have a Thanksgiving game this year at all.

Saturday is the best day of that weekend. Kids these days go home for Thanksgiving. Getting them back early isn't easy. Saturday is much easier than Friday. If it's between Thursday night and Friday morning/afternoon, Thursday might be better (at least gives you a 3 day weekend), but I suppose I would marginally take Friday night over Thursday night.

Not Aggie.

No reason to ruin a perfectly good holiday.

Save the gnad kick for the next day.

So horn doesn’t, but A&M does. It was tradition. Our parents would come up, one of the moms would make us turkey, and then we’d walk to the game while they stayed in our apartments to watch.

You wouldn’t remember any of that bc you graduated in the 60’s.

Your school handed tradition over to 80,000 preppies and a slew of Draggies.

You don't even enter the field to your school's fight song. Tradition, right.

Dig a hole and put a tombstone on that bitch. Texas A&M is deader than their last white EE major.

I do. But I grew up with it that way, and something has always been missing ever since it was moved.

frick coddle culture. Unfortunately we gave up the time slot and the NFL took it. We ain't getting it back. Friday night is better than Saturday.

The only reason the game isn’t played Thursday’s anymore is because the people who don’t go to games don’t like the idea that they would have to travel that day if they did attend. It would “ruin” their tradition TG at home vs on the road. Your kid don’t have a oven to make a turkey at their apartment, take them to Cracker Barrel.

Also, I’ll be honest. As a guy who grew up watching the game being played on Thursday, I didn’t even know there was a time the game wasn’t played Thursday’s.

I’m fairly sure when LSU was assigned as our last game, most of us were shocked the game was moved to Friday/Saturday. But it made sense. That would have been a big change for LSU to make bc they do travel deep, and they prefer the weekend.

But horn, you guys should be used to it and obviously hated it. Most of you live in Austin anyways.

At least you like to think of it that way. It fits the preferred narrative.

Wait, he challenged me to a fight? I skimmed and saw creamy hands and figured he said some gay nonsense.

You don't pick a Sonic where I live. There's only one.

I like the tradition of the Thanksgiving day game, but logistically it was always a pain in the arse. I like Friday night at this point.

I do NOT like Friday at 11am, which is when many were scheduled back in the Big 12 days.
