Think maybe it's his one year old baby's blanket. Kid can't help his dad's a dumbass.

The kid, stamp, is from Missouri city outside Houston near sugarland.

Thats where alot of Aggies are from.

But obviously the kid is a idoit since he had to get his grades up to get into lsu.... I mean who has to get their grades up to get into lsu?

Why the hell do you even allow your name to become public? If I'm the LSU fan, no way do I put a face or name to the story.

The timeline is interesting, but the author's choice of words here made me laugh:

Long article, but interesting read.

I found it interesting as well.

I said this yesterday in the Rant but I'll say it here as well. I really did feel like the sentence was out of line for Downing, but after treading this and seeing that he didn't even see fit to offer up an apology, I wish he would have had to register as a sex offender.

Yeah, that's pretty fricked up. Woe is me, my life has been turned upside down...boo hoo.

If Downing had been 18 or 19 I think he should have been spared jail time, but a 32 year old adult doesn't (or shouldn't) act like that.

I'm not sure if he never apologized due to advice from his lawyer ( in case of a civil case maybe?), but he still should have done it...unless he wasn't really remorseful.

Would you rather be tea bagged or have your a$$ kicked and head stomped by a few LSU football players?

According to his wife, anyone can act this way. You're allowed to make mistakes as long as it's "out of character" or if you're an otherwise "good man". They clearly deserve each other.

That could have been the case, but someone else replied in the Rant thread and said an apology wouldn't hurt a civil case, because his strategy would be to minimize the damages that Stamp suffered.

I think a simple, "I feel terrible for what I did to that guy" goes a long way. We already know he did it. And it sounds a hell of a lot better than "I feel no malice towards that person". I honestly don't believe he feels any guilt over what he did at all.

This.

He's not sorry for what he did, he's just sorry the video went viral.

He definitely should have apologized at the least. I don't think it would have hurt his civil case. That video says it all.
