In order to get a settlement that large, those players will have to get on the stand and say under penalty of perjury that nobody associated with LSU contacted them about filing a lawsuit against the SEC/NCAA

You sure you want that?

Wouldn’t they be outside the current eligibility window next year?

Since they didn’t play and aren’t in school they would still have a year of eligibility left technically

Seems like you are as familiar with the 5 for 5 rule as Sankey.

That’s the problem so the issue isnt moot. They can still try and roster them next year

That's not how 5 for 5 works which this mess is all based on. 5 for 5 is 5 consecutive seasons of eligibility.

It gives the SEC it’s “first hand account” of LSU contacting these players to file the lawsuits to bypass SEC rules. Which is seemingly what they lack right now in their federal case.

Y'all do realize that you bend the rules just as much as anybody else, right?

You know less about the 5 for 5 rule than Sankey.

It is 5 consecutive years.

Yep, we're going to find the Oxford judge to grant Whit Weeks a 6th year

Is it moot? Because LK really hurt Sankey's feelings with his halftime comment to Holly Rowe. LSU should definitely be kicked out of the conference for making Greg cry like a bitch.
