LSU hasn’t been fighting for anyone. LSU recruited players pending eligibility concerns which the players themselves initiated. Two roster spots were left open because it looked like it wasn’t going to workout in those players favor and LSU needed more time to figure out who to give them to.

The optics to everyone is that too much money is on the line for the SEC to do a damn thing to LSU.
