And no, it wasn't that obvious

Some Auburn or LSU fan has hacked poor BAMABREZE' account. We were assured and lectured to by the fine Tide fans here that they never nor have ever complained about officiating.
Chicken or Ice Cold, please check into this.

Right.
Just like Patrick Peterson didn't intercept the ball in 2009 in Tuscaloser as well.
Idiot. Take the glasses off.

I'm just glad HD replay monitors were available in the official review booth for this game :sarcasm:

Video evidence says otherwise. Bama's butthurt is making my day oh so friggin sweet.

The receiver did not have possession of the ball when he hit the turf. it looked like he had it for a moment in the air. By the time he hit the field, however, the ball was loose. It was intercepted. When you go up for a ball, you have to come down with it.

it was and he lost control on the way down before he hit the ground. The ball landed in Reeds arms and then Reed took it.

Meh, it doesn't matter. I'm more mad about the non call on the dirty hit on Kirkpatrick. It looked like they didn't even give the guy a personal foul? I couldn't hear the ref's explanation for all the booing

Maybe not as obvious as your butthurt, but still pretty obvious.

ya know even though I do believe the right call was made, I wonder if the thought of an "oh shite we better get this one right" crossed theitr minds.

Sorry 4 anyone thinking this is a troll, it's not. I agree with the guy that said if it had been ruled a catch then it wouldn't have been overturned.
It is what it is. I'm disappointed that we lost, but as I said earlier, if we had taken care of business this play wouldn't have mattered.
Congrats to LSU for the win. That is all

It doesn't matter if he hit the ground or not. Had Reid not been there, and if he had hit the ground and lost the ball they would have called it incomplete. This isn't like a running play where the play ends the minute you make contact with the ground. A receiver has to maintain control even after he hits the ground. He didn't and Reid ended up with the ball. Obvious interception.
