I checked the stats, it says Reid still has the interception, just to clear that up.

If they had called it a catch, the ruling on the field would have stood. Not saying it WASN'T an INT, it was just no real evidence to say one way or another by replay

Yes, and given past history, they might have even overturned this call despite the video.

When this game became primetime, hyped ad nauseum nationally, ensuring a huge national audience, Bama lost the opportunity to cheat for another title.

Maybe Saban will lobby for the 2013 game to be an 11:30 game so you can have better with that.

This has nothing to do with karma.

In two separate games, PP7 and ER1 made incredible plays on the ball.

In the first case, PP7 was robbed in a call that EVERYONE, including Paul Finebaum believes was one of the worst calls ever.

In the second case, the correct call was made and only butthurt Bama fans who mistaenly thought they had the best secondary in the world believes it was a bad call.

Before looking at the paper this evening, I could see the point.

However, I just looked at the BR Advocate.

Nice picture of that play. Williams buttocks have yet to hit the ground and possession is questionable at best. Appears Reid is getting the ball.

That's the way it was called on the field. Get over it. Don't lower yourself to the LSU fan level by endlessly bellyaching over a call that didn't go our way.

Bammers,

It was YOUR hand-picked crew led by your hand-picked ref, Tom Ritter, who called our game. We've documented this clowns favoritism toward Alabama teams for five years. He lives in B'ham and has one kid gradudated from UA and a younger one still enrolled in UA. That alone should ahve disqualified him but no. Shaw picked him. Both players went up for the call. Watch the slo-mo, and Reid came down with it. The ball never touched the ground so it couldn't be incomplete. It had to be caught by one of the two players and Reid came down with it. Deal with it, crybabies!
