The hypocrisy-trolling cycle

Team A, Fan 1: Does something that Team B Fan 1 finds disingenuous, ignorant, illogical or hypocritical
Team B Fan 1: Copies Team A Fan 1 in an attempt to illustrate Team A Fan 1's fallacy. Let's call this "CopyTrolling"
Team A Fan 2: "CopyTrolls" Team B Fan 1, not realizing that Team B Fan 1 is, himself, CopyTrolling
Team B Fan 2: "CopyTrolls" Team A Fan 2
Team A Fan 3: Doesn't know people are CopyTrolling each other. Concludes that all Team B fans are idiots, because the CopyTrolling gets all the attention
Team B Fan 3: same as Team A fan 3, but, in addition, calls Team A Fan 3 a hypocrite when Team A Fan 3 points out what he believes to be an epidemic of behavior among team B's fans.
TLDR: Everybody is "CopyTrolling". It can be confusing for people who come in late to the party and then it snowballs.

This is the SEC. With the exception of maybe Vanderbilt every program is there to win and make money. So are the coaches and players. Anyone pretending their favorite Football program stands for some kind of spiritual goal, is a beacon of morality or represents some higher good is a hypocrite and/or an idiot.

My favorite is the irrational single-statistic troll, like one of our favorite GIF-posting friend enjoys.
For example, A.J. McCarron has three times as many national championships as Joe Burrow.
Does that alone make A.J. a better QB? Of course not. Burrow had one of the greatest single-season performances in recent memory, and it's okay to acknowledge that.
But some posters love hammering obscure stats that make no sense out of context, just to elicit a response.
It can be fun here and there, but I don't understand the enjoyment one gets from relying on that shtick constantly.

wins over top 10 teams is an obscure stat.

Everyone Trolls but it is directly correlated to how accomplished a progam really is.
Alabama, Florida, LSU even Auburn fans can point to National and conference Championships that at the end of the day is what matters most.
Fans of mediocre programs like A&M mostly troll because they don't have anything of substance to hang their hats on. When trolling is all you have, troll away.

LSU is better and everyone else sucks and things we do that work are good and if others do it, they are bad.

I don’t mind the trolls who actually put some thought into their posts. The guys on here that I dislike are the ones who sit perched, waiting on a thread about a school they hate just so they can swoop in and turn the thread to shite regardless of the topic.
Cajunbama and EarlyCuyler are the worst two. Even when someone is trying to have an actual intelligent conversation those guys simply don’t have the ability to add anything but insults.
It’s disappointing.
