At least Robb Smith is moving up the ladder. Good for him. In two years he will have followed Elko's career trajectory when he gets a prestigious job.

When will Arkansas start getting 4* and 5*?

We usually have plenty of 4 stars in our starting lineup. Not sure why people think we sign 2 star players left and right, no SEC school does. We're mostly 3 and 4 stars with a 5 star once every 3-5 years lol.

Wake Forest is a destination job. Arkansas is the stepping stone to Wake Forest which is the stepping stone to Notre Dame.

And this is why your "serious" topics should be disregarded

Orgeron wouldn't have even been considered for the Hogs DC job, yet he's LSU's head coach.

I would have said line coach. Don't think I'd be ok with a 50 yr old man who strips down and tries to wrestle 18 year old kids as a viable option for coach

Did Wake Forest's defensive coordinator not just garner the same position at Notre Dame?

Please please please be Segrest and to a lesser degree Kurt Anderson. I'm willing to give Anderson another chance considering the patchwork oline he inherited, but he better get to 'crootin if he wants a third year.

We need Segrest as much as we need another 'Smith' to join our staff.

LSU hired their fired head coaches DL coach as head coach.

Congrats on not even being a stepping rock, much less a stepping stone Fester.

You could find some real gems on the Auburn board in regards to their on again/off again mood towards Malzahn and Lashlee.

Of course you could.

Just a little reminder that rarely is a coach as good at his job - or as bad - as he seems.

And that those 10-year extensions rarely work out the way you think they will.

While all this is true, it is also true he went into Fayetteville and got deep in Bert's tater.

Wonder if they will make Paul Rhoads and Charlie Partridge Co-DCs and then hire a new secondary coach.
