Pushed out. It's been widely reported that Bielema lets his "fired" coaches find another job before making it official. See Chaney at Pitt for a recent example.
Now that doesn't mean that coaches don't leave for other jobs. Chris Ash left for Ohio State on his own, Clay Jennings to Texas and Sam Pittman to Georgia. Obviously all of those are upgrades.

Wake Forest is a destination job. Arkansas is the stepping stone to Wake Forest which is the stepping stone to Notre Dame.
