So you're saying Nick Saban was able to do more with less?
Saban did Less with Less in 2020.
No matter how you want to spin it, the 2020 season was effectively no more than a cripple fight with bama coming out on top as the best special person with the shiniest baseball.

The only people who think this are butthurt LSU fans who can't deal with watching a team outperform their "GOAT" the very next year.
As if everything that happened last year affected every team but Alabama.
"Their team didn't fall apart under their leadership, it's not fair!"

Won the national championship despite conditions that were so bad they didn't even think there would be a season giving us an all SEC schedule which it went undefeated on.
No matter how you want to spin it, nobody will ever be able to match it. But 1995 Nebraska is still the GOAT. 2020 Alabama is just the best of the playoff era.

CurlyQ gets so livid when you tell him that 2020 was a joke.
I think Ja’Marr being WR NUMERO UNO confirmed it for him

Then Alabama has increased the lead with NFL players
Going into last NFL season it was
Alabama 56
Ohio State 50
LSU 41
Florida 39
Michigan 33
so now it will be Alabama with 66 and LSU with 48. I think Ohio State also had 10, so they are at 60. LSU being left behind.

I believe they had 6 taken in the 1996 draft

Say it ain't so. Miles 2.0 ain't got a plan in the slightest. He's all out of binders.

I thought it would be cool to do a deep dive in just one of the classes that has made BAMA football so much fun these past 4 years. The most amazing and productive recruiting class at BAMA is the 2017 bunch. Recruiting gurus are calling it the greatest of all time. At the time, BAMA felt it coming. Najee, Tua, Mac, DeVonta, Henry, Jerry, Alex, etc. I'm sure we all know that group on a first-name basis by now.
8 first-round picks off the 2017 team alone and counting. Why counting? There are still some from that class coming back who will be starters, so we could have even more. LaBryan Ray, Brian Robinson, Chris Allen, Phidarian Mathis.
A little overview here: Nick Saban has now had 39 first-round draft picks at Alabama since 2007. Need some perspective, the barn has had 30 first-round picks back to 1950. LSU has 41 first-round picks in their history back to the draft inception in 1936. In 14 years of Nick Saban at Alabama, we are only 2 behind their freakin' history.
Here's the cool part. The 2021 class just signed is solidly ranked ahead of that historic 2017 class according to 24/7. Why has BAMA dominated college football and LSU? We are just better.
The 2017 class played was in 3 National Championship games. They won 2 National Championships.

Alabama has had 15 players from the 2017 team drafted in the first round. I am not sure any team has had that kind of track record, and like you said they could add to it next year.

Let me preach on that. Corndog. History says you are wrong. Alabama has a history of winning and winning big. LSU...does not.
That's why there are statues outside of Bryant Denny Stadium of coaches that have won national championships. Check out the dates. Bama 's been winning for a long time.
Not one,but TWO of the greatest coaches ever have been there. Everyone in the profession knows you can win and win big at Alabama.
When Nick Saban ends his career, sure it will be the end of an era. But not the end of Alabama winning big.

He sat out a year and still went before any player on Bama’s “greatest team evuh”. That’s how good 2019 LSU was. Gumps didn’t even have a top 5 pick.

Just 8 of the Top 38 selected which has neve happened before.
Lost 9 of 10 to The King. Suck it Skippy.

Yeah I’m sure everyone knew about the draft record for the top 38 before last weekend
You know you have a weak argument when you are making up new stats no one cares about

Call us when 20% of the 1st 40 players are from Loseranna State.
When you have lost 9 of the past 10 games then you have what is know as the weakest argument.
Enjoy 2019.
5 and 5 U at Baton Rouge.
