Well there ya go. If that’s how you feel, how am I in the wrong? Seems like you need to dive deeper into your beliefs.

Nice projection.

Even so, I'm not masquerading like a clown so I can get some dumbass school to pay me a fortune just in hopes of beating daddy.

Does everyone remember Middle School and multiple choice and true/false tests? And there was that cool teacher who would always include a no brainer true/false bonus question that was worth 10% of your test grade because he felt sorry for the dumb kids?

Well, a perfect example of that would be a Government test with the following question in which everyone but the 15 yr old repeating the class for the 3rd time would answer correctly with False.

Why do you say that?

Do you not know, God unlike man forgives and forgets sins confessed with an earnest and pure heart? We all fall short of the God's glory, but only through faith does God redeem us.

Separation of Church and state is a man made law, but it doesn't trump God's law that all true and faithful followers of God are called to profess the Gospel anyway and everywhere.

You see, people tend to only say that when it’s a person they like. When it’s someone they don’t like, they are out for blood.

It’s the Mark Walhberg effect. He best someone so bad he blinded them. But oh isn’t he a good young man these days though.

For the same way you judge, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.

False Wahlberg beat the hell out of the man which was bad but did not blind the man. The man was already blind in his left eye.

Not minimizing the offense.

If this is your worldview, and you have no issues proselytizing to those who don’t want it because you (not they) believe someone to be “living in sin”, then you absolutely cannot complain when an atheist (as dumb as they also might be) for pushing their views loudly into the public sphere.

So while I agree that the 10 commandments should be stressed in each one of us, it's because the God of the 10 commandments stresses it to us to show us our need for Jesus Christ and the salvation He alone offers, to restrain sin in us and those around us, and because it is given as a guide for life.

Man wrote the book because he needed to impose his order on other men. It’s easier to do that (especially back then) with fear and stories.

Over the years, societies formed around laws, many still having some of the same principles. We should teach the laws of the society we live in, not the guidance of the past.

Both were created by man, but only one is actually broadly applicable to all as guidance today.
