Doesn’t matter, they are one of the best.

The committee just showed us this.

UGAs QB is still playing and starting.

Then Michigan wins the playoff, then gets hammered for their cheating and has to vacate.

FSU could end up with the only legitimately claim.

I think UW has proved they are one of the best teams this year. Elite offense, beat Oregon x2, beat 7 playoff eligible teams. Sure they scraped by some bad teams… so did Texas and Alabama.

The four best teams are Alabama, Georgia, Michigan, and Ohio State. Those are the four teams that would be favored on a neutral field against everyone else.

The four most deserving teams are Michigan, Washington, Florida State, and Texas.

The frustrating thing about the CFP Committee is the way that mix and mash criteria, applying objective standards in some spots and subjective standards in another without any consistency whatsoever.

Also, in my opinion, it SHOULD NOT be the four “best teams.” Alabama could have lost to Arkansas and Auburn if a few plays had gone differently and still be one of the four best teams. “Best teams”, as far as power rankings and talent evaluations go, are about predicting future results and have less to do with results on the field.

Have you ever met a Bama fan in person? They were claiming they were the best team in the nation every year when Shula was there. They could be 0-12 and still would be in here with excuses to be in.

Alabama lost to Texas (not on your list) and needed a miracle to beat Auburn a week ago.

This is it.

Boo has shifted criteria depending on what week it is and how he feels. He is a human.

The entire thing is broken.

Alabama would be favored on a neutral site if they played tomorrow.

We need a NFL format. Everything else is heading to the NFL ways.

Four best teams are arguably Bama, Georgia, Missouri, LSU. None of these teams deserved to make it though.

And? Texas beat Houston by 7, TCU by 3, and needed a 4th and goal stop to beat KSU in OT.

FSU beat Boston College by 2, Miami by 7, and survived while looking putrid against UF (losing record) and Louisville (lost to KY and Pitt).

Did they need a muffed punt, a Hail Mary miracle and coaching malpractice to beat a 6 win team just last week? I mean, if we’re talking about who looks the “best” right now, then that doesn’t follow that fake logic at all.

Undefeated FSU beat a top 15 team in a conference championship game with their 3rd string QB(who wouldn’t be playing in the next game btw) and held an offense that was averaging 37 points a game to two field goals. This is corruption and bias. That simple.

Then uga must absolutely suck, because they just lost to BAMA on a "neutral" field.

Ok? Oregon was a big favorite over Washington. Bama was a big favorite over Auburn.

No. Lol. A better team can play a bad game. Not deserving.

PST…Bama ain’t one of the “best four teams”….Iron Bowl.

Yeah, it wasn’t the “eye test” based on how they played this year, it was the “name test”.

FSU, Georgia = smaller brands? What?

Georgia is a smaller brand than either Alabama or Texas has limited financial upside. No one outside of Georgia wants to see UGA win 3 straight. Rating would suffer.

FSU is even moreso a smaller brand than Texas and Alabama. So they're out, and Texas and Alabama are in.

Beat your team, so there’s that.
