It's really not though. It's been a slow fade that is now coming to it's peak.

What really happened is that teams discovered Clemson was optically and digitally stealing their signals … word got around and everyone changed their systems.

There has to be some truth to this. They have been terrible the past few times they have played top 5 teams. To go from beating Ohio State and Alabama badly to not being competitive.

LSU isnt a flash in the pan. We have won 3 nattys with 3 consecutive coaches since 2003 and played for another natty that we lost, despite having beaten them earlier in the season at their place. That pan sure has flashed alot, lol. Thats not a flash in the pan. Thats sustained success. LSU will be back again competing for another one soon. Geaux Tigers.

BY reading all the shite you would think UGA is the gold standard. One of those teams has been in the playoffs since 2015 with two NC's while your team has a "we're close bumper sticker".

I have no doubt everyone on their side from team, coaches, to fans were 110% sure they were going to win against Georgia.
Good lord they are a delusional bunch.

Who do they think they are? The Tigers of LSU?

Middle school offense that was propped up by two all world QBs and some big bodied WRs making circus catches.

They will finish with one loss this year. I would take that for a "fall" any time . If they were in another league this year, they would lose a handful. But, not in the acc

It’s still early, but this has the makings of a 6 year flash in the pan. They are totally inept on offense, and much like with LSU and Joe Burrow, Deshaun and Lawrence aren’t walking through that door.

A 6 year span of dominance with 6 straight conference titles, 6 playoff berths, and 2 national titles is an entire program history worth of accomplishments for most schools. They’ll probably take it.

No, but Cade Klubnik is next year. He's not a project. He's a legit Day 1 starter.

sorry, where in my post did I even mention my team? Oh right...never. Not once.

Some of you bama fans are so indescribably insecure it's beyond words. This thread has nothing to do with uga or bama, yet you try to make it about both.

I like how people here are using the excuse 'well they had this amazing player, and they had these amazing players'

That's exactly what championship teams and programs have. Did the Einsteins of Rant think Dabo and company were suppose to win with Gamecock talent?

Dabo brought in that talent and he's still recruiting at a high level.

Well you're telling us all how Clemson is done yet your Dawgs have been to the show once.

So your deal is it's OK to smash a team that has trophies?

Enjoy your huge Win over The Clemson Tigers (the team that is done) while your GT fans enjoy almost the same deal.

1980 can give you an insecurity complex ...wait that is your problem not Bama's

I think the issue with Dabo’s program is that it requires an elite quarterback to work because they basically never have good offensive line play. The QB being able to scramble to throw and run is a big part of their offense staying on schedule.

They wouldn’t always need to be signing a future NFL 1st round quarterback if they identified, recruited, and developed better OL.

I get that. I don't see that being an issue for Dabo though. If he can recruit two generational QBs he can surely recruit some QBs that are exceptional.

This could be a "down" year for Clemson, its early however. They lost a very close game to UGA which is being put on a very high pedestal.

When an OL is playing bad, it makes everyone look terrible. And two or even one bad OL player can tank the whole unit. I’m not sure about DJ, but if they ever get this OL worked out they may be right back in the mix of elite teams.

Dabos weird stance on recruiting and not taking transfers doesn’t allow any margin for error either

As bad as Clemson looked again yesterday. If not for a pick 6 the game against UGA would probably still be tied at 3-3

Clemson has an elite defense like they did the year with Bryant as starting QB.

The difference is that Bryant was passable as their starting QB while DJU is barely passing as an FBS scholarship player.
