Maybe they were stealing offensive signals. It still doesn’t explain why their offense is so bad

A better analogy would have been
It’s not like Cam Newton is walking through the door at Auburn

People do you realize the 2 biggest disappointed teams are Georgia and A&M, Georgia with some of the best recruiting classes the last 3-4 years with only BAMA ahead of them and A& M with a 75k cartoon coach for 4 years with neither one having a sec title or natty, let that sink in.

It’s still early, and DJ is basically a rookie but their offense has been shockingly bad. They showed about as much vs Ga Tech as they Georgia.
On that note, Georgia’s first game performance is losing some of it’s luster.

it requires an elite quarterback to work because they basically never have good offensive line play.
I don't know. Clemson's OLine has held up really well every time they've met 'Bama in the playoffs every year, aside from 2017. 2015 stands out to me considering how loaded the defense was. Hard to give all the credit to the QB's.

This thread has nothing to do with uga or bama, yet you try to make it about both.
Wrong. Bammers try to make everything about them.

What really happened is that teams discovered Clemson was optically and digitally stealing their signals … word got around and everyone changed their systems.
There has to be some truth to this. They have been terrible the past few times they have played top 5 teams. To go from beating Ohio State and Alabama badly to not being competitive.
Far be it from me to be a Clemson apologist but I don't think DJU is the problem. He's a decent QB as he showed last year. But Clemson has ZERO skill position players that are explosive now and their OL isn't exactly moving people off the ball either. SO DJU has no running game to lean on, and no open receivers to throw to. That's not a recipe for success, then sprinkle in the signal stealing thing, which seems to have a kernel of truth to it, and Tater has big problems. Maybe at least Dabo will STFU and work on his craft instead of running his mouth.

Man this is his first year starting. He may grow tremendously in the off-season. I don’t like Clemson but I can’t crap on a kid in his first starting season.

Middle school offense that was propped up by two all world QBs and some big bodied WRs making circus catches.

Just so you know, I like shitting on Clemson and not sure why he’s trying to defend them

DJU... you mean the poor man's Tua?

Clempson's offensive woes can be directly attributed to the loss of Jeff Scott, their "co-offensive coordinator" to the South Florida Bulls. Most clemson fans are complaining massively about Tony Elliot's play calling...

He needs to put on some weight, but he's 2 inches taller than the other Austin Westlake QB who had a decent career. Dude's accurate as shite.
