Nope,only 4 final fours and a national championship plus a loss in the championship game the next year....we have no history..

I'm counting four for LSU: 1953, '81, '86, 2006. Not bad, considering most SEC schools' track record.
And then there was that American Legion Bowl appearance in '35.

2 SEC football wins in 2 years and Hogs are optimistic. I guess we look at Basketball how yall look at football, any win is reason to be optamistic

Will you fricking quit already? LSU fans have a right to be optimistic about basketball. It seems when any other SEC school does better or gets a great coach they can run their mouths all they want. LSU fans are optimistic because BB has been down for a while and looking better. Anyways it does not matter if Arkansas or Missouri wins a few more games than LSU. What counts is a NC, ask Kentucky!!!So tired of all society watering down everything, including sports. There is no more great teams anymore, just a little luck and the ball bouncing your way, PATHETIC!!!!

Turn in your Tiger Junior Deputy of the Rant badge, Tigerinthehollow. LSU's been to 4 weekend parties, though they've not played their best ball at any of them. They've also won 12 SEC regular season titles which puts them in that microscopically distant 2nd behind the mighty UK in SEC history. It's laughable when the newbie "experts" on SEC roundball disparage the LSU program. The Tigers have been there and done that more than every SEC program not named UK, regardless of the inconsistencies outside of the Brown era. For those who don't know, LSU under Daddy Dale form 1978 through 1993 won on average a game per year from the mighty 'Cats, forming one of the top rivalries in SEC history while it lasted.

LSU is a Jekyll and Hyde team this year, we caught them at the right time. The LSU Basketball team is superior to us this year, better talent, bigger players. The coaching is even, no way should that team be as inconsistent as they are. Mizzou snuck a win out against them.

Has our little brother to the north really done anything other than beat us in football from time to time which is there championship when that happens.
